theGnat, I agree with you that if the Ranger wasn't my daily driver I probably wouldn't have a subscription. I also have a 50th Anniversary Bullitt which is only driven in warm weather months. With the Bullitt I use a flash drive with music downloaded. Actually, I have a few, each with a different genre. I did that to please a couple of favorite passengers.

I let the free trial end, and a week later I got actual paper mail delivered offering $4 per month for 1 year plus a bluetooth wireless speaker. Probably will go for that, 4 bucks pretty cheap, just put a reminder on my phone calendar to cancel before the $24.99 kicks in. That price is way out of reality. Spotify is also not bad as you can build up your own library of tunes, but still around 10 bucks per month.

I actually enjoy the Sirius XM, but not for the default price. I cancelled via chat and the first time they offered me 5.99 a month. I said no, and they offered 4.99 a month. I took that one as it is worth 5 bucks a month to me. Then I tried to do this on my Wife's Kia (a 2025 model), but this time the chat first offered me 7.99, and then the second offer was 6.99. Not sure why the Ranger was 2 bucks cheaper or if they have increased their prices overall, but at any rate, I said no on her car....we always drive the Ranger anywhere fun/long trips

Craig, I'm willing to bet in a month or so you will receive emails for better prices. As I mentioned earlier, my Bullitt is only on the road for about 6 months so it's not worth it for me. About a year or so ago I began getting almost daily emails offering me a subscription for $4 a month. Then came the deals for both vehicles for $8 for a year. They don't give up.

I had the $5 a month for 12 months going and forgot this is the last month. Goes up to $20something a month in July. Just got on to cancel. it goes through AI chat and they offer you another contract at $7 something a month for 12 months, said no and then they offered $6 something a month for 12 months. I just don't use it often enough to justify it. Was nice while I had it and maybe use it enough to justify $5/mo. Anything else is just a wast IMO.

Get the subscription that's for internet and cellphone app, when the phone connects to the car you have it in every car and only pay the low non vehicle specific price.

Yes, however you can par the subscription down to the internet/phone app ONLY option. It cuts the subscription cost bigly.

How in the hell do you get signed up the SiriusXM 360L plan?!? I want to do the 3 years for $300, but my dealer hasn't figured out how to do it and when I called SiriusXM they told me the dealer needs to contact them to setup the subscription.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It's 3 years for $99. Wait until you subscription ends, and then call them and ask for that plan. Then call back the next day and say you want it to cancel at the end of the 3 years. Repeat when you notice the truck no longer has SXM active, cause who is going to remember to cancel in 3 years??

Oh yes, have played that game with my wife's XM subscription in her Honda CRV. It's a pain in the a$$ but have saved by doing so.

This is what's advertised on the Ford website for the 2026 RR, and I am fine with the price (but of course less would be better and preferred!), however cashing in on it has been impossible at this point. I have reached out to the dealer again and waiting to hear back. When I was picking up the truck they said they had never sold any of the XM subscriptions and didn't know how to do set it up.

Ignore that option and just call them and say you want the 3yr for $99, or try for the 5yr for $125. $300 is a rip off, especially since $60/yr is their normal deal. You can add it during your trial, and it'll start when the trial ends.

My wife and I have called over a dozen times and that 3/99 deal, according to xm, is for older cars and they refused to give it to us for anything newer than I think 2020. We got it for our 2019 mb and were later denied transferring it to either of our 2025 fords.
