2024 Ranger Raptor Scheduling Only This Week (7/13/23) for Production Weeks 9/4 - 9/25

Oh no....You can't get the first one...The sky is falling.

Too funny how impatient we are. I've been there before, so I get it, but I've learned that just having a bit of patience pays off in spades. Is it really that important to get the first one? I could care less if I get #1 or #1000 for example. I plan on test driving most of the new mid-sized trucks that are coming so I'm in no rush.

If Ford was making a ton of these and we were guaranteed to get one by the end of the year, nobody would care about not being the first one. The problem is, Ford is giving the finger to their most loyal customers and only making a few of the trucks that everybody wants and creating artificial demand.

All this means is that the general public will want it as soon as they start seeing them on the streets and we have absolutely no word on when Ford will be making more. I certainly don't want to wait another year for a truck I've essentially already waited a year for.

Does your order ID correlate at all with build timeframe in the 7 thousands and have the 1 allocation at my dealer

I got my order in as soon as it was possible. Added a retail order as soon as you ould also, and I'm the only rraptor order at my dealer. But guess what, I'm one of the losers that stayed unscheduled.

They never scheduled my Maverick in 3 years, took 2 years to get me my 1st day reservation bronco, and it has been a huge disappointment, and they didn't pull my rraptor order.

All ready leaving ford on my wife and I's suv; think I might go trd pro tacoma at this point.

Yeah unfortunately if you live near a shitty dealership that is not paying attention to how the operations work, then we basically become the collateral damage.

But sorry to hear about your experience. I know you were ones here that were super excited for this release.

I just got the 45 day email from Ford today citing supply constraints. Total BS.

This is funny because at least three people read your post and all came to the conclusion you were being unnecessarily condescending. Either you were trying to be condescending or you were accidentally being condescending. Either way the onus is not on the reader to hyperanalyze your statements. If you had a different intention with your statements, then you need to work on your clarity.

The way I read it is that the sales guy honestly didn’t know. Perhaps the priority codes were not communicated properly to the order manager. And Ford just pulled the lowest priority code. Sounds like he’s going to get the rep involved and try and fix it. I wouldn’t be so harsh with him. Catch MPR flies with honey.

Mine was the first at my dealer. Order number in the 100s
