Is your cover above your rearview mirror loose?

Correct. No noise just lose on the right side and lower than left side

Yeah, but its not making any noise so Im ok with it. Already took it apart to mirror tap my RD and it went back together pretty easy.

Lost in translation lol. How did you fix it? Does it pop off and snap back on? I don't want to attempt to pull off and break it.

Ha, sorry about that. No, it is a little loose, not flush against the headliner. That being said, it doesnt rattle or make noise, so I dont care. It was easy to remove and mirror tap the RD and the clip back in. Its still loose but again, doesnt make any noise. I wasnt expecting German build quality getting into this vehicle. My expectations with most of the truck has been exceded though, so these little things dont keep me up at night.

How do you take that off without damaging it? Curious about what’s underneath for power tapping for my dashcam that is getting installed on Tuesday

There's another thread here for mirror tapping. Lots of pictures of the cover pulled off. It's literally just push clips. They pull straight back towards the mirror. Have to take off the little one in the middle first and then you can take off the bigger one. I'll be routing my dashcam to the fuse box under the steering column.

Some as mine.
But my rain sensor is loose as well. So my auto wiper doesn’t work well, I brought to AutoNation Ford Tustin last week, but they decline warranty repair because I putted on window tint first, even my window tint didn’t put it under that cover.
I will try another dealer and never back to that dealer again. @Ford Motor Company

I would say the cover assembly felt slightly loose higher towards the headliner, that's it. But it's never rattled or visibly shake while driving even after removing to do a mirror tap.

Yes, now that you mention it. I'm heading in tomorrow for a few other minor adjustments as well. The fabric on the driver seat needs to be pulled tighter in certain spots.

Mine was a little loose too. I started pushing on it a bit and then the entire black cover and the front portion of the sunglasses/light console all popped and shifted up slightly as if they were not quite seated correctly. Now it's all pretty solid now. The black mirror cover has a tiny bit of wiggle to it, but not like it was.
