It's to drain water. Leave it be. Or better yet, just shoot some water from a hose into the bed and watch it flow out. You do not want the bed to be like a bathtubLooking to get the bed coated but noticed this gap. It looks like a place that water could get in and cause rust down the road.
Is this something bed coating would seal off? Need to seal before coating?
Or nothing to worry about?
Thx.

Agreed. I have a spray-in bed liner and there's still a small gap. When off-roading, my bed gets extremely dusty. It's really nice to take a pressure washer to the bed and watch all the dirt and water drain out the back of the bed. The bed would be impossible to clean without it.It's to drain water. Leave it be. How else are you supposed to get a hillbilly hot tub? It's to drain water. Leave it be. Or better yet, just shoot some water from a hose into the bed and watch it flow out. You do not want the bed to be like a bathtub
A big ass sheet of plastic works well, just like a pool liner.....although a bigger truck bed works better. Me and some friends had a "pool" party using this method on the strip during the weekend of the indy 500. Was a crazy weekendHow else are you supposed to get a hillbilly hot tub?
