Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

My order went in 4/30/24. First day the 2.7L V6 became available.
XLT, 4wd, 2.7, 301A, side steps, console safe, running boards, Adv Tech w/towing, Carbonized Gray Metallic

Please post your build date when you get it.

Did any of you have a 2.3 on order with a build date (6/3) and a VIN number ? Did dealer let you cancel that order to reorder a 2.7 ?

I did have a 2.3 on order, dealer said don’t cancel. Build date was 6/3. Dealer didn’t care. Said I will have first right of refusal when the first truck comes in. If I don’t want it they will sell it. I have no deposit down on either, so no issue.

Update, I was told today my order Priority Code is 3. Which means the lower the number, it’s about to be scheduled for build. Thanks

I just got an email today for my XLT 2.7 with VIN and scheduled build date for 7/22/24.

Confirmation from Ford on 5/3
Received Build Date & VIN on 5/23 for a build date of 7/22

My XLT, FX4, 2.7 build was submitted to dealer on 5/6/24. Received confirmation email from Ford on 5/7/24 that order was received. Fingers crossed that I will receive a build date soon.
Congrats to all of you 7/22/24 folks out there. I am glad to hear Ford is moving on these.

I just received the same email this morning as well. 2.7L V6 Lariat, in Azure Gray. Good luck ?

The dealer would love you not to take it IF IT EVER COMES IN. This way they can mark it up $5000 or more.
