Yeah - I guess so but dollars to donuts that within 2 weeks from now I will pull it off, re-tint and put it on level myself.
My tint guy said he would put on a new piece of tint on that back window and we could level the camera correctly . . . For Free. I said nope - gonna give him a $50 since he re-did my front Air80 twice already for free. The extra half inch of length at the bottom was just the ticket to get it to bite for good.

Looks great @Rapture2423

I'm kind of tempted to get a new radar detector now.

Look into the VIOFO line. It’s a good product 👍
I really wanted to switch to the VIOFO dash cam but the mount won't work with windshield tint. :(

Why you say that? Mine stuck right on but you only get one chance to stick it on. If you screw up you have to pull the tint to fix it.

Well the cost @ $200 for the windshield tint is too much of a risk lol.

FYI... Have you tried using a small piece of mylar for your mount? Using will make it easier to remove since the mount adheres to mylar and the mylar to the windshield. I did it on my Bronco before I sold it and it worked perfectly.

Hadn't thought about that. But I mounted with the mirror mount so I'll stick with the Blackvue for now.

So I was backing out today and looked into the rear view mirror and as always my eye goes right to the unleveled camera. I was surprised to see it hanging from the wire. Apparently the Florida sun heat warmed it up enough to drop from the 3m adhesive. I got back there and with all the technology I could muster up within myself I re-fastened it level unlike my electrical installer. Hopefully it will hold

Hey @jrRaptor picking your brain again. Did you end up using the foam vibration pads that come with the Blendmount kit? I positioned the Blendmount pretty aggressively against the rearview mirror cover and each other. I was thinking of adding those foam pieces between the dashcam mount and the cover and between each mount. Spots in pic

I did not, I left space between them and they don't touch. If I were trying to compact everything like you did then I would use the pads or something to eliminate or reduce vibrations and noise. Good idea if you go that route. Only reason I didn't was because I didn't feel it bought me much more visibility and just made it more difficult to mess with or work on.

I mean, I dont have a spare 3 prong fuse to throw in there. I have the OEM fuse in there as the only one. Would that really keep it from getting any power?
Yes, you need both fuses inserted to get power. I used the fuses that came with my hardwire ket which were both 5 amp fuses.

I have it working with just the one fuse installed on that tap.

Let me know if you need any other pictures.
reviving this thread as I've got my viofo cam in the mail and need to install it.

I know consensus was that we need to order that Micro3 fuse tap for #21/22, but does this also mean I need to pick up a micro 2 fuse tap for the one at #28? if the answer is yes, would a kit like this be sufficient? https://www.amazon.com/Gebildet-Circuit-Micro2-Holder-Harness/dp/B07ZV4LY54

sorry if this a dumb question, this is all new to me.

Don't understand why they can't take all the video feeds from the built in cameras and record them to some local storage? Come on Ford, seems an easy do.
