I'm a runner so almost everything is constantly tight. I see a very good Chiropractor that also does soft tissue work and that is not helping me much. IDK it's really starting to piss me off.
yeah, i’m in the same boat as you! i got a sports massage and the dude (yeah, i know haha) said i was all locked up. i said, yup, i know haha.
i got a theragun that i use after yoga and riding, that helps a bit.

I’d never heard of one before. I’m assuming it’s a massager? & it does seem to help?

I won't keep it if I can't find some relief. Hate to lose the money but it's better then getting pissed off every time I get in my truck. Just not sure what I would get. Taking it to the dealer on Friday to see if they can look at this and a few other issues.

the more the people document it, it may force ford to make a better quality pad.

Had the same problem. Steel rod in lower back, made long distance driving a real pain. Took my 2024 xlt to a automotive upholstery shop that knows what they are doing. They used a memory foam type material and reused the original seat cover. Made a world of difference. Price was under 500 for the pair plus a couple of 30 packs of beer and lunch for 2 employees

I have called multiple local places and no one seems interested. Glad it worked out for you.

In another thread, what people are saying is that on the passengers side, these is a thick plastic liner below the foam, no such liner is on the drivers side, he placed some liner there and said it offered good support. Me, I'm thinking of getting the foam replaced by my dealer under warranty, and of placing the liner under the new foam. I have 0 support for this, but think Ford was going to place the liner under the drivers too, but couldn't get the part. I mean my drives seat where my butt goes is gone! Even with the 4" piece of foam i cut and placed there it's still bad.

So. I pulled my Drivers seat, and took it apart. My first impression of the foam? Terrible. No spring back, just lousy. Judging from feeling it off the seat, i would expect Exactly the hole it becomes.
What I'm doing- Adding the Nylon plate under the cushion, between the spring support and cushion, adding a real inflatable Lumbar, and adding a seat heater- those 2 from Corbeau. I'm debating if i will add some support foam Under the the existing foam, I most likely will. But, yeah, it's the foam. To do the same you just need hand tools and a hog-ring upholstery set off Amazon. the cover is Hog-ringed down at the seams. More to come.

What did you use for foam? Im a little dude so that is part of the problem. I think if you were a little larger the seat would probably be ok as you would sit on the seat and not in it. It almost feels like they put a huge hole and forgot to fill it before completing the design. I have really struggled with this as I am in the truck for road trips often and it really gets my back messed up. I did look at the Tacoma and the seat was much worse so this is not just the Ranger. The GMC Canyon is pretty nice but not really the truck I want. I would get the F-150 but the truck is just so darn big.
I had a 2020 Toyota . The worst seats I've ever experienced.! Its partly the reason I traded in my Toyota and got a Ranger. The Rangers seats are just OK....compared to "Toyota terrible"

I think the plastic will help quite a bit, I'm thinking of putting about an inch and a half of shaped foam on top of the plastic under the factory foam,. I can feel the part where the foam is lost its structure. It's soft, right where your butt goes. I think the lumbar bag will help quite a bit too the factory one basically just the seat back to normal and that's it! Did you have to cut out for those holes? I wasn't looking at that.
