I just installed a set of Nokian Outpost nAT tires on a set of Method 703 rims with +35mm offset. The tires are 255/75r17 which are about 32” (32.1”?) and same width as the original tires. The nokian’s diameter is 1” taller than the stock 255/65r18.

No clearance issues yet and I don’t anticipate having any problems. I did not lift the truck or add spacers or do anything at all to the suspension or anything.

The truck came from the factory with Goodyear wrangler territory at (not at/s like the 2024’s I saw had). The Nokians are slightly louder than the stock Goodyears, though they’re also less inflated (30lbs) than the Goodyears were (35lbs). Both the Goodyears and the nokians are the same width, but the Methods are 8.5” vs the stock rim’s 7.5 so I expected a bit more stiffness from the Nokian/method combo. I haven’t noticed a difference yet so maybe the stiffness increase was offset by the nokians being slightly taller? I dunno…

I like those wheels a lot and wanted to get them for my Raptor. I just thought +35 might not be wide enough and I never saw any pics of those wheels on a Raptor to find out.

This combo looks really good, been considering doing something similar on my 24 XLT (I like the Bronze with the Blue, but I'd go silver since my truck has the Chrome Package). That tire size and wheel offset looks dang near perfect on a stock truck IMHO (maybe go for a 265 width if that's an option?).

Thanks for sharing your setup. It sounds like everything is working fine so far.

The Nokian tires are a bit taller, so they might feel a little different while driving. The lower air pressure can make them feel softer and a bit louder too. If you bump them up to 35 psi, they might feel closer to the stock ride and make less noise.

The wider Method rims can stretch the tire a little, which can add stiffness. But since the tire is also taller, that can make it ride a bit softer. So you're right — the changes might be balancing each other out.

It’s good there are no clearance issues. Keep an eye on it over time, especially when turning full or hitting bumps. Sounds like a solid setup overall.

As a kid I was infatuated by this car and the color combo. I don’t know that I’m fooling anybody into thinking I have a countach but you never know ?

The Countach is the coolest supercar ever made. ?
I think you’re pretty close with the Ranger. The average person won’t be able to tell the difference.

I see you had those ugly ass wheels on it. Those are the same ones I have and can't wait to get new rims and tires . You don't have any problems with rubbing with the new wheels

I’m keeping the stock rims, which I like, for my snow tires. But since you called my winter rims “ugly ass” I’m totally not sending you a Christmas card this year.

I'm thinking that this may be my interim setup until proper lift kits are developed. 255/75/17s and titanium Method 703s once they come in stock. I will go cheap on the tires, probably going with Kumho or possibly Cooper AT tires as I drive mostly on the road and occasionally on beach sand. At least this is my current plan atm, lol.
