Guys, after a long time trying I was finally able to make the OBDLink MX+ work on my MacBook M2 running Windows 10 via Parallels.

The trick is simple: you can’t use Mac’s bluetooth. I bought a cheap plug&play usb bluetooth adapter, connected it to my Parallels Windows machine and it worked like a charm!

Hmmmm, interesting...???
Zero issues with MacBook Pro, W10, Parallels with OBDLink CX for connection and coding w/Forescan.
Been using said set-up for years coding my Bimmers as well.

FP tune, different story, must use a Windows PC laptop as no Mac/software combo will work full stop.

I am new to FORscan so be gentle. I also spent time in search and all I got was a migraine. Hoping someone can help.

I want to turn off the annoying seat belt “on” verification button. My neighbor who has a Bronco and experience with FORscan helped me using the spreadsheet at the very beginning of this thread. Success, no verification button!!

However, this morning I noticed under my view seat belt screen that it showed that none of my seats were occupied. Does that mean that my airbags are deactivated? I hope not.

What I’m requesting from the Ranger community is:
What exactly do I change to just get rid of the “no” verification button? Chimes, etc are fine. Just want button off and airbags on.

thanks in advance
Gary

I am also using a macbook, but I used UTM to run a virtual windows XP with forscan and it runs smoothly.

you are good, no problem being new on this, we all were previously.

i think someone has talked about exactly what you wish to do in an earlier part of this thread because i think they wanted just the light off but still to have the seat alert active. you will probably have to read the whole thread to find it though

Thank you again for your reply. After looking over your info the following is what i think i understand. This would leave all chimes on but get rid of the "on" confirmation button but will still show that seats are occupied. Does that makes sense?

Code looks right. I haven’t tried this configuration.

You mean where I changed to F100 from your E000?
Correct. I expect it to do what you want, but haven’t tried it. Based on my experience, the box doesn’t always go away as anticipated, so it may or may not work. Only way to know is to try. If it doesn’t work, try with the chimes off.

This worked and was able to keep chimes. I really appreciate your help.
