I was getting about 18.5 with the Ford Performance tune. Reloaded the stock tune and getting around 20. On a recent trip to Oklahoma from Texas and got 21.5 on the stock tune.

Would you be able to see a boost leak with logs? I'm not real happy with how my charge pipes fit on my cobb intercooler.
If it's bad enough, yes you can.

As a data point, I'm running turbosmart's IC and it increased my gas mileage although minimally. I only add that because visually both designs look the same (i.e., turbosmart's/cobb's).

It sounds like you got it squared away though!

Soapy water sprayed on joints. Check for bubbles.

That's what I was thinking but trying to figure out a way to safely build boost while I'm under the truck. Probably just chock all the wheels and have someone brake boost it.

I am seeing a pretty steady 21psi at WOT with your 93 S2 tune. Does that seem about right?

I have not had to check my RR but I have had to do this to several other vehicles. To make room I put the vehicle on 4 jack stands. The diesel truck I just used high idle but that’s specific to that truck. You will probably have to brake boost to get a few consistent PSI. Speaking from experience this is mildly terrifying with 4 wheels on the ground and totally capable of jumping over wheel chocks. Consider making room for yourself under the truck safely.
If you want to get really cleaver you can get/rent smoke leak detectors.

Yep, that is a good boost pressure. However these trucks can still make boost with a leak so make sure you don't have one

Plug in your ProCal tuner and reset KAM. Let it relearn. Should help.
