Marsh Gray Thread

What no love for the marsh gray? I have to admit it's a love it or hate it color, my wife calls it dirt. So I named my truck Joe, as in Joe Dirt. I like it, but Ford could have called it Mississippi Mud. It does look better in person, and it does change color depending on the light. Wasn't sure when I first saw the color on an F150, but this color only comes with the chrome package which looks terrible! It looks awesome with the black appearance package on the Ranger though.

I like the marsh gray, almost an olive drab color. Was one of the 4 colors I was looking for when I shopped for my ranger. Great choice!

I intended on getting Azure when I went in to place my order. They had a marsh Grey sitting there. I took a couple passes, changed my mind a few times and decided to save the $800 and go with the marsh Grey. I think it looks great in person. Waiting on delivery now.

I honestly really like the Marsh Gray in person. Photographs really don't seem to be able to do it justice. Up close it's a very old school Army green kind of color.

Did anyone compare the Ford paint chip in the color folder to the actual color on the vehicle?
My body shop guy says it's about 2 shades darker on the color folder.
I agree that you can park it in the sun with the drivers side directly in the sun and the color looks closer to Desert Sand than Marsh Gray. Yet the passenger side is a lot darker looking.
We told the dealer that it was not the color we ordered and he suggested that we 'wrap' the vehicle then.

It changes pretty dramatically depending on lighting conditions. More than most other colors. At least to my eyes.

Yeah it looks nothing like it does in the build and price tool.

The build and price tool for the 2026 super duty has "marsh Grey metallic" as an option tied to the platinum plus package. The preview actually looks like Marsh grey.
