Collected my items at the best prices I could find... Took a while, sub was back ordered for 6 weeks and couldn't decide what amp I wanted. KEYLOC took a bit as it was showing out of stock for some time but a phone call resolved that.

Finally got everything together and installed, working and yes the difference is worth it, like adding a second half to the sound system.

A couple of issues and mistakes slowed me down some:

KEYLOC - Ordered from Sounds Good Stereo and I was sent a wrong piece of harness... SGS, totally stand up people sent me the correct piece right away.

Power - I Went back and through the trouble of adding an additional 12v wire later that I didn't end up needing. I later found out that besides the amp 12v power you only need one more 12v (switched) for the KEYLOC and that the KEYLOC has a wire to remote power up the amp.

My amp choice may look a bit unusual but I wanted something smaller with some extra power. It is supposed to be rated at 400w RMS 2ohms, though as soon as I got into the manual I found conflicting info on specs so not sure if its really 300w or 400w but it bumps and at this point don't care.

The American Adventure Labs amp bracket is nice quality and fits nice but tax and shipping put it at $155, not sure the value is there, probably should have just made my own.

Will also add - Yes take out the back seat if you're going to attempt this. Was able to remove it mysely but will get help putting back in it.

Anyways just threw this together as the more info for people to find the better.

Caught this post from your new wheels (looks good BTW) and wondering if you are happy with the overall sound? I just replaced my speakers and have a sub going in with similar gear.

Yes, even with the original speakers and no added sound deadning material it has totally transformed the system. I can actually feel the bass. I would definitely recommend using an amp that has a remotely located bass level knob as I constantly am using it on different songs... GL!

I am doing just that. The company who is making the enclosure (Under Pass rear seat) is a kicker dealer, so he had me get the Plugnplaykits version harness with the LC2, we are doing a Kicker Amp and sub. I have already run the 8ga wire for the amp as well as the amp's gain control in the center console. They same company makes this install bezel for the gain control. That came out pretty sweet, the rest should be done this week.

Very nice! Do you have a link for the gain control bezel?

What's the cable from the Keyloc to the Amp and where'd you get it? I got a couple cables from SGS but they told me I'd need to get an RCA cable, I take it that's what they were talking about.
