Found a window sticker for a 2026 Lariat. Yep, headlights replaced with the reflectors.

Nice find !
‘For sure confirms the order guide changes and wow look at that total price !
All that and quite a bit more can be had with the Raptor for even less of a cost difference and more of a content difference then ever before.

About the only thing I can possibly think that might be playing into this pricing strategy is a potential future stronger marketing press with bigger rebates and finance incentivized rates.
Historically ‘I have seen mfg‘s drive the MSRP up only to compensate and turn around and get more aggressive with there incentives to drive sales.

Still , for now for sure makes the 25’ Lariat’s especially older production models prior to the 25’Job 2 content changes by far the beat deals out there, at least for Lariat trim trucks.

The rice is crazy, I paid less for my Raptor. The reason I went with the Raptor was the price for my Lariat was 2 thousand less than a Raptor. Now the Lariat is the same price as Raptor. Doesn't make sense. After driving the Lariat I felt it was 10K over priced now more like 15K. No wonder dealers don't want to stock the Lariats, they are going to be a hard sell without large discounts.

Well, I'd say the projector lights which I enabled matrix functions on were a big factor in deciding on the Ranger.

I have no idea how the engineers at Ford convinced the bean counters to offer such a cool feature, but it seems that the golden age may be over to an extent.

With many 26+ models Openpilot so handsfree driving is locked out. I planned to own my truck for awhile so let's see what the gen 7 Ranger brings.

The continued de-contenting of Ranger is more than disappointing. I have a '24 so have all of the goodies that are one-by-one being removed. Self parking, gone in '25s, leather trimmed seats, gone, projector LEDs, gone. Many other as well, all with price increases. Guess I'll hold my '24 for the long term and see what 7th Gen Ranger has to offer. Either that, or my next truck I'll step up in size to F-150.

I have had two Fords with self-parking, the latest was a 2020 Escape, never used it, I'm not crying over that being removed.

This is classic Ford, same happened to the 5G Ranger.

Not defending the Ford BS, keep in mind though the 26 RR is closer to 60k With factory bed liner and say an upgraded paint color . They are up about 2k over what the MSRP was on my 24 model.

I bought all 3 of our new 25 model Ranger Lariats over the past 90 days for $7-8k off MSRP.
I only got 1k off my 25 RR in that same timeframe .

Also rebates seem to be there are rebates or at least dealer discounts most of the time for non Raptors. So the difference is likely $3k or higher .

No matter though the RR is now the only way to get real leather seats, and the projector LED headlights, if that’s a deal breaker for anyone.

When I am in an area that is predominantly parallel parking I use it frequently.

Maybe it makes sense on a truck, but with anything having low profile wheels it's a gamble if the convenience is going to cost you a $250-600 alloy wheel.

Or maybe since 2020 they've perfected the feature but in my experience it was worse than I am at parallel parking.

I have found the system does a very good job with placement from the curb and centers me between the front and back cars.

I bought my RR in March near invoice. At the time Lariats with the V6 were rare and in my area commanding ADMs of 5k to 10k. Raptors were 6k to 15k ADM. I bought mine from an out of state dealer at a discount. Crazy prices then, now I see big discounts on all non-Raptor Rangers at the dealerships close to me. Glad to see dealerships are finally discounting Rangers but their previous ADMs have cost them lots of sales and service. I take my Raptor to a local independent shop for everything other than warranty work.
Screw the dealership, they wanted to overcharge me on the purchase so I am sure they will do the same for service work.

Read some more, apparently Ford deleted the option from all Ford and Lincoln products from 2025, not just the Ranger.

Cutting some features to try to hold prices as best they can. They track what features get most used. This rated as dead last, so they cut it from their product lines.
