Not at all. Ford has done a horrible job marketing the 5/6G Rangers. I bet many people here don’t know there used to be a Tremor.

It was actually a pretty nice package. You could add it to XLT or Lariat trim trucks.
I posted this 2022 Tremor window sticker a few pages back.
No 2.7L v6 was ever offered in the 5th gen, but still overall a really nice truck.

The same truck with the same options on my 25 is $2k more when you add the price increase, charge for paint, and the increase in destination and delivery. I bought my truck in July.

I think the speculation is not so much what has happened with the typical annual price increase of the 26 model. More the speculation that the 27‘ Tremor could price in where the Raptor is priced at now pushing the Raptor up a few grand higher say 65k for a 2027 Raptor.

This speculation is because there is not much room between FX4 Lariat and Raptor as they price today to squeeze the Tremor in between them. Creating the speculation that this new Tremor model will force the Raptor‘s price upwards to make room for the Tremor.

I was not aware they were specific with that Tremor announcement being a 26' model.
I just knew they said later this year.
Most Manufactures announcing new models now for later in the year are referring to the following model year vehicle.
Like most of the other stuff launched or talked about at the Detroit auto show last week were planned as 2027 model.
I don't know that to be the case for the Ranger Tremor pkg, I don't think saw it quoted one way or the other, just making an assumption on how these things typically work.

yeah but the last Tremor for Ranger was over a 4k bump. Add 4k to the Lariat with a 2.7 and you hit Raptor pricing.

i agree that package would be a tough sell

so likely a tremor trim equivalent to an Xlt with a tremor package

and no tremor package for the lariat.

or a bump in the raptor price.

I can not see Ford adding the Tremor packing in the 26 model year at all. For gosh sakes its almost February and still no build data on the web site. LOL... God luck ever seeing it or even by 27.

I understood the odd model year production dates for Ranger in 2024 and maybe it made some since with how that played into 2025. I have to think at some point it would get back to the normal production schedules seen on most every other Ford product.
Starting 2026 model Job 1 production in Q1 of 2026 is odd for most any manufacture.
It leaves a lot of new prior year models still in transit into the new year.
I can't see them continuing to do that. I am sure they had there reasons for what happened in 2024 and 2025 production.

But I am sort of thinking 2026 model year might be a short run, in order to get back on track.

I am not really expecting any major design changes with the 2027 Rangers.
I do pray they don't apply Maverick styling to it.
This would really tick me off.
I truly hate the look of the current Maverick.
The prior maverick looked a lot better.

I ran across this 2026/2027 Ranger AI rendering the other day and thought, awe hell no. LOL

I hate this unfinished look on the nose.

The Current Ranger design looks much better IMO.
I think the current Ranger is hands down the best-looking mid-size truck on the market.
One of the best-looking trucks out their period. I sure hope they don't F it up whenever they do get around to a refresh.
