Man, I wish I would of researched these F150led Lights prior to buying them. What a waste of $240. How does a company sell a product that is completely misadvertised.

A 7/16 drill bit ain't fitting in the grille slot. I purchased these in January 2026 so they definitely are not adjusting their product at all despite probably getting months of feedback.

I reached out to customer support. I expect zero help based on feedback from others who've posted. If I can't get my money back, suppose I'll do what others did and cut the wire to feed it through the grille. I'm sure the fitment of the lights will be the next item that'll piss me off when I get to that step.

A disclaimer thread should be created and stickied for this product. Folks shouldn't be giving this company any money or business.

It's easier to remove the grill and drill from the back side.

Great job on being unhelpful. Keep up the good work. If you can elaborate on the fitment part, would love to hear it so I know your full of shit.
Wow, angry much? They fit the cut outs perfectly, snip the wires and reconnect on the back side, happy now?

Can you elaborate more on how they fit? Ive seen multiple posts covering how they had to trim the lights in order to get them to fit properly.

That was the original universal fit $100 light kit, the latest exact fit version does not require that trimming.

You may be looking at the original square ones that were generic, the new ones are tapered to the openings. I do agree the plugs could be smaller, but the post that smuggest removing the grill is a great idea! Super easy I have had mine out before to mount the front light bar.

In case anyone wants to see an install video here is the one F150Led made.
Which does work, but I do prefer to cut them and splice back together, less stress and arguably a bit faster.

That video is the reason why I bought them 😅. Made it look like a 10min mod. The fact is the connector coming from the lights do not fit in the cutouts in the grille. No one can argue that. Unless someone squeezed the shit out of the connector and forced it through a hole larger than a 3/8 drill bit.. which would tear up your grille, hence why it's being recommended to either cut the wire or take the grille off and drill from behind.

I did squeeze one through like they showed doing it in the video, and decided it was really more of a PIA to go that route figured out it was just a lot easier to cut and splice them back together. I think I had them installed in around 20 min. Really wasn’t a big deal.
‘I had tried 3 different sets from different companies in my 24 RR, and by far I like fit and look of the latest F150 LEDs the best.

Do I wish they would source smaller plugs to simplify the install? Sure I do.

But really I am very happy with them overall, the install is a 20-30 min thing, once in they look and work great. I do plan to use them again on my new build as well. I don’t know of anything better out there.
