So do the 3rd gen lights fit flush now?
My F150leds fit flush since I modified them. I took a little material off the top and bottom of the housings, mostly towards the back, slightly tapering them so the rear of the housing is slightly thinner than the front.

Thanks. Do you have any photos of the area you sanded down?

The set I received recently did not. I ended up returning them because they look like garbage and don't agree with a company selling a product that doesn't fit the vehicle they specify it for. They actually told me to modify the lights with a dremel to make it work. Unacceptable in my view for the price they charged.

That answers that question.
They responded to me that they could be made to fit, but did not elaborate on how.
I had assumed it involved some time spent sanding/shaving them with a Dremel but I don't know where the housing starts and at what point I would damage the light.

I 100% agree, I am not wanting to have to custom shape each one if I can help it.
I would much prefer a clean plug and play product.

No, I tried to pull one out of the grill pocket to take a pic but I didn't leave enough slack in the wires to remove one.

I literally asked for these for xmas and pretty sure my wife bought them already. I was expecting perfect fit didnt realize these are a one size fits all type for that price.

Yeah it’s pretty sad a company advertises that their product fits our truck but only if you sand it down yourself? What kind of ridlculousness is this. Either sale something that fits or don’t say that it does, otherwise they shouldnt be allowed to do any business on this site Imo.

Ya I was under impress at that price it was custom. Ebay sells for half price but I figured those would be generic.

If you want a 3 light setup to fit in the upper portion of the grill where it looks like Ford should have put them from the factory, there aren’t any exact fit on the market. The F150 LEDs are the better quality lights, but not the best fitting without sanding them down.

I have tried several different sets and do like F150 LEDs the best but 100% agree, they need to come out with a perfect fit solution. We see a lot of post on here with these same complaints about them.

Yup, for the price they are charging. The fitment should be good.

I purchased from F150LEDs to support an American company, but my experience has been disappointing so far. I bought the grill lights and side vent kits. The grill lights are incompatible with the Ranger Raptor without significant modifications. The drill bit required to pass through the wiring to the rear is almost too large for the tapered slots. I anciently scraped the top of one slot and exercise extreme caution when installing the other two lights. Consequently, the installation isn’t flawless because the tapered slot isn’t deep enough, leaving part of the light protruding from the grill. They provide instructions to trim the rear of the lights to prevent from sticking out, but this could potentially damage the lights and void your warranty.

The side vent lights don’t fit the Ranger Raptor, and their installation instructions will damage the side vent, requiring replacement. I attempted to drill into the vent but quickly realized it would be disastrous. I set up a return, even though the product didn’t fit due to their mistake, I would have to pay for return shipping. I proceeded with the return but opting for the store credit for the purchase to avoid the additional expense.

Again, I saw their new ditch lights and decided to give them another chance. I had some remaining credit from the side vent lights during the Black Friday sale. However, I couldn’t get the code to work, and the support wasn’t particularly helpful. Because of the lack of progress, I decided to give up to avoid missing the sale.

I was pleased that the kit included the mounting brackets, which seems to be quite difficult to find any that fit the 2024 Rangers.

When I had a chance to open the box and attempt to install the lights, to my surprise they didn't fit. I had specially ordered the lights for 2024 Ranger. Fortunately, I still had the ditch light brackets from my 2022 Ranger Tremor to compare to and they matched up perfectly. So, they sent me brackets for the previous generation of Ranger. I reached out to them and requested that they ship me the correct brackets.

Well, I patiently waited for the replacement, which they promised would be delivered promptly. I received the shipped email with the tracking information, and two days later, I was able to track it as received by the local USPS in Georgia. It arrived this past Monday, but unfortunately, I was out of town on business and couldn’t open the package to see what was sent. Naturally, I wasn’t surprised to see that they had made another mistake. I have absolutely no idea what these metal pieces are or how they’re supposed to be mounted with the lights. There’s no way these are going to work with the 2024 Ranger. I had made sure to purchase the lights that were to be shipped with brackets specifically designed for the 2024 Rangers.

At this point, I’ve decided to move on from F150LEDS. I hope I don’t encounter any warranty issues with the products I’ve purchased so far. As a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law, I also bought grill lights for her Bronco. It’s disheartening when try you support small businesses like F150LEDS, especially when they support the Ranger5G and Ranger 6G forums so beneficial to its members, only to have your expectations not met due to poor customer service.

I also took a chance recently on the grill light kit and was pretty disappointed. It is painfully obvious with them physically in hand that they're not designed for those 3 pockets on our Raptors. You'll also need to be careful drilling the holes for the wires because a 3/8" drill bit is just a smidge too small to get the waterproof connectors through, but big enough that you can scuff up the pocket opening if you're not careful.

I also tried to trim the back of my lights to get a better fit, but you have to trim far more than anyone should be reasonably comfortable with to even get them close to fitting in there. It also appears that this compromises the weather seal on the lights. Anyway, I did get them installed and they (thankfully) all worked, but for the price I paid no one should have to do that. I'm also very skeptical on their longevity after trimming them.

Honestly, after reading other posts and most recently @Pirategrad's, I don't think I'll personally be purchasing anything else from F150LEDs because I can't trust anything to fit as advertised. I do not recommend anyone purchase this particular grill light kit.

When I realized how big the holes needed to be to get the connectors through I decided it would be easier to drill the holes from the back side of the grill. So I looked on youtube and found out it was only a 10 minute job to remove the grill. I used a 7/16" drill bit and reamed the holes a little extra afterwards. It would be nearly impossible to drill holes that big from the front without causing damage to the pockets. However with the lights in place they may hide damage to the pockets? I wanted to avoid damaging the pockets so the extra 10 minutes to remove the grill and 10 minutes to reinstall it was worth it to me. I also sanded the housings down a little to fit flush in the pockets.
