How water tight is it? Thanks.

I went with a company called FLATED. I like that I can pack up the topper when not in use. It could fit in a closet. And can put it on, take it off completely by myself.

I ordered my ARE camper shell a couple days ago. Classic MX (slight rise) in Shelter Green Metallic with sliding/fold down front window, dual LED strip lights and no carpet. They gave me an estimate of 8 weeks.

Thanks for the info! Hoping mine is ready mid-February. I had carpet in the ARE on my '05 Tundra. Considered it in this one, but I wash the bed interior down after beach trips/hunting season. Just easier to dry/de-scent without it.

I didnt even option it. it showed up with it. asked dealer, they said its included for free. you have to request it not be installed. Now that could be the dealer package or somein.

got it basically at cost, when the cap showed up and was doing up thr paperwork, the giy on cash was like "wow this is the cheapest I seen this one go for, they are not normally this cheap.... was still $3,000 ish canadian plus tax. just shy of $5k tax in. so I can only imagine what it would of been if me and dad didnt know the manager, and send loads of busniess thier way. lol

Got the call today letting me know that my ARE shell is in and its being installed Saturday. Along with window tint and new gold/bronze Raptor bed decals going on tomorrow it'll look like a different truck.

It’s the 1up Rakattach
You can push it all the way in the receiver and drill a new hole for the bolt pin. The others I tried stuck out too far for my liking.

I went the Flated route also for my ‘26 Lariat. I don’t want a full time topper for my purposes. Easy one person installation/takedown - easy storage- rock solid even with my heavy foot on the highway. I went with the slightly taller version for the extra space. Could not be happier. It’s definitely not a fashion statement- but I needed occasional utility.

Thanks! The one thing I am disappointed with is the trim pieces in 2 corners of each side window. They are cheap plastic with a foam pad spacer on one corner.
