Thanks for the feedback! I'll assume everyone is good with the tolerance until the consensus changes. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to reply. That's exactly what we want to get from and give to this forum community.
Mine just won't go I attempted the mallet and it's just too tight. My OEM cutout is 1.5/8" while yours is around 1.3/8". When I squeezed my clamps down as far as they could go they end of even with the rectangular piece of the connector you have the right side cutout for. It's looks light your mount is opposite to the way the OEM is cutout. Are you the one that answers support emails? Could you PM me please. I'd rather have a brief private conversation.

Do you have calipers that can get a more accurate measurement? There really shouldn't be this much variation in trucks.

I mentioned before, but mine did need a solid whack to seat. It's probably never coming out, but it worked great.

Maybe they need to check their manufacturing. Such a discrepancy for some customers. Mine was tight but went it perfectly. Yet some say it's too tight. I'm not sure what tooling they are using but tools wear out. I'm sure Brit knows this but maybe something to check.

Hence getting some more precise measurements from folks.

I ordered a new caliper it'll be here tonight between 5-10pm PST!

Oh and my manufacturing date is 03/2026 if that helps anyone else! So I'm only speaking for a 2026 Ranger Raptor...

Ok this is as precise as you're going to get outa me at least!
The three measurements in the diagram are all the same thing in different formats. So 1-1/2" Is equal to 1.495" which is equal to 38mm.

I ended up taking one side down to try out and it went right in. It's not loose though my concern is with the spring clips. I think one of them is right on the edge between being pressed in and springing back out once it's past the thicker than OEM AAL Plate. It is for that reason I may end up taking the other side down as well...

Looks like we have identified this as a 2026 issue. That would explain why some don't fit and others do.

I'm glad to do a revision for 2026+ trucks. @freakshow999 can I send you one of the new ones for verification?

Thanks for the measurements!

I can understand your stance on this, but we don't run like traditional shops.

We run high-end Mitsubishi tools.
Positioning Accuracy - 0.0019”/20” (0.05/500 mm) - so for every 20", the cut can vary only 0.0019". A human hair is 0.0071 inches.

Repeatability
±0.00039” (0.0099 mm)

This is a Ford change, not a manufacturing consistency problem.
