DTE with the Long Range America 35 gallon fuel tank (500+ miles range now)

This is awesome. I am really wanting to get one of these tanks. I have a 2024, and cannot find reliable information on how to update the DTE on my model year, only people saying what to do or who to contact for 2025+. Anyone know how to do this on a 24?

I have one sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. Pretty sure Long Range America has a link in their install instructions on how to update the DTE using Forscan.

Looks like that tank would fit in the bed if removed from the pallet?
Would that be a correct assessment?

If I order one of these for Godzilla project it will need to fit inside my bed under the bed cover for shippent to the shop doing the engine swap. I plan to have it bed lined and ready to ship with the truck hopefully it would fit in the bed if slid in sideways and maybe layed on its side?

I thought there was a discussion around here that there is a difference in how the programing of the 2024 works compared to that of the 2025.

My understanding is that the if you have a 2025, you will need Stanghi to help program the trucks computer.

Where if you have a 2024 it was my understanding that it could be recalibrated through a Forscan program /devise.

That there was a difference in how the fuel capacity and DTE data was setup in the 24 vs the 25.

I fit mine in my bed minus pallet. It was on top of my Decked inside my camper though. Pretty sure it barely fits diagonally. Worst case, u just need to prop one end up a little bit.

Minor tweak for the carbon canister due to the North American trucks not having the same cross member as the Australian so we just mounted it to the frame. Also there's one tank mounting bracket we don't require. Other than that straight forward install.

I had approx. 20 L from a jerry can in the tank prior to this fill up.

How many centimetres or inches lower does it sit compared to the original fuel tank?

I didn't take a measurement. I do have a pick from last night, but the angle might be a bit deceiving. It's minimal.

Guys! I installed the 35 gallon LRA tank and immediately contacted Cody @ Stanghi Performance. He set me up remotely with an amazing tune and fixed the DTE. VERY happy with the results and he is a really good dude who knows what he's doing. He has a ton in R&D into these trucks. Give him a shout!
