They replace the whole driveshaft for something that just needed grease? What am I missing?
the crazy part is in the Bronco world there are guys that have had theirs replaced 3 or 4 times under warranty. My clamp and grease fix mentioned above is still noise free. You would think they would put out a kit for the dealer with two clamps and a packet of grease. Surely would be cheaper for them.

Any update on yours? Did the driveshaft solve the issue? My 24 RR has started making this chirping sound which sound identical to the videos posted on Bronco6G.
So far, its been about 800 miles sound free.

They replaced the whole driveshaft assembly, it was the slip joint causing the sound.

My ‘25 Raptor started exhibiting this sound recently. Will have to bring to the dealer’s attention next time I’m in. Glad to at least know the source of it now.

Are you feeling any binding near lock in 2H?

Just an update. My grease fix is still working. No noise.

24 2.3L here. 15k miles. I had heard something start clicking or similar around 9k. Up on the lift and couldn't find it...but the truck was also cold.

Now at 15.6k....clear as day chirping. I immediately figured there's a slip or u joint failing somewhere. Seeing this thread and all the Bronco guys suffering with the same part....sigh...I still haven't found a good local dealer either in VA.

The second dealer OP went to understands troubleshooting. The first were hacks.

Guess I go find a place now that doesn't have pinecones for wrenchers, get a front DS.....and then immediately get set up to grease it. Always the concern that if it DID run dry, then it may already be damaged.

I wager the factory is probably under greasing these to save a buck over thousands of trucks. Seen in many other industries.
