Yea, Black was always a lot of work. I pretty much changed over to mostly all white vehicles a couple decades ago, but just in recent years do now have a couple black vehicles again, neither are daily drivers, so it’s not as big deal now.

Always loved all the old G body GM cars.
I had that Monte SS , later had. an olds 442, also had a v8 Regal at one point.
The olds 442 was probably my favorite of 3 G bodies.
When I bought my first Grand National back in '88 I was actually in the market for an 83-84 Hurst Olds. I saw a Grand National at a car dealership so I stopped to look. The salesman came out and said "you wanna drive it?" I was like hell yeah. Of course he came with me. About a half a mile down the road I pull onto the highway and got after it a little and I said "I'll take it." 🙂

Think about it? Heck, I'm still driving it to work almost everyday. My first new vehicle. She turns 30 in a few months!

Got a lot of them on my list I think about fondly, 1968 Shelby GT500 428, 1970 international orange Hemi Cuda 426, 1985 Ford Bronco 300 I-6, 1995 EB Bronco 351, and Old Yeller screaming yellow 2004 F 150 XLT 5.4. I'd really love to get anyone of them back.

My '80 Toyota 4x4 is the one I miss the most. Got it in '87 or '88 I believe and traded it to some friends around 2003 or so. It had been underivable for years since I was in the middle of motor swap with a sweet 20R replacement I had built up while working at a machine shop. But the usual "life got in the way" with job changes, moving, buying a house, and blah blah blah.... It was time to part ways. My friends got it up and running and had some fun with it for a while until someone else made a decent offer on it.

3" lift, dual shocks, Doug Thorley headers, Konig seats with lap belts, decent stereo, and a few other little good for comfort.

I've owned a lot of vehicles....
The one I miss the most was my 85 4Runner. Bought it new. Had it 15 years. Put 240k on it. Awesome rig. But I doubt I could be happy with 119hp today...

Oh man, the last year of straight axle Toyotas in the US... but could be wrong, the 80 series Land Cruisers might have had them, however my Toyota history is a bit rough these days.

I dream of buying myself an old Ranger and fixing it up. One day, I’ll pull the trigger on picking one up and restoring it to its peak glory

I have owned many cars but one car I think about constantly is both my 91 and 92 NSX. The ones that get away!
