Interesting stuff.
Almost everything is down except Ranger, Mustang, and Bronco all three show some nice gains.

With the Ranger being one of the better line items on the year-over-year sales list, I can't help but wonder how things might be if Ford actually gave a shit about selling Rangers. Still zero marketing or incentives on Rangers since the debut of the 6th gen (I don't know if they ever advertised the 5th gen in north america, but I don't recall seeing any).

Since buying mine I've concluded the Ranger is actually a pretty nice truck.

I've thought how awesome it would be if Ford would offer the packages and options available on the Bronco across the Ranger line.

Trucks are just getting too dang expensive for the average consumer. The Maverick fulfills the needs for *most* people who need trucks in the US (homeowners and DIYers who just need something for Home Depot runs and hauls to the dump), while being very affordable. The sales numbers speak for themselves. People LOVE the Maverick. I think its Ford's only model that has continuously improved in YoY sales. I really liked the Maverick but the Ranger fit my needs more since we wanted the extra towing capacity for a travel trailer. The only thing the Ranger lacks that I'm esspecially jealous of on the Maverick is the hybrid powertrain. They have hybrid Rangers in Europe and Australia, but Ford doesn't seem intent on bringing it to the US market.

Because the F Series are still the vast bulk of Ford's US sales.

The Broncos are more profitable than the Ranger which results in Ford prioritizing Bronco production over the Ranger at MAP.

Do you have a source for this? Everything I've read has said that a hybrid and super duty Ranger are (at least currently) off the table for Ford in the USA. Jim Farley has said though that he wants every model to offer a hybrid powertrain. I won't give up hope!

There's not going to be a F100 or super duty Ranger. The super duty isn't happening here because we have domestic F-150 lines whereas Australia has to import them at significant markups which provides market segment room for the Ranger super duty.

Thanks for posting this. It explains why my local dealer has around 50 new F150's on the lot, but only 3 or 4 Rangers, at any given time. It also explains why there aren't very many used ones showing up in the market.

Can you afford a new one? I think you'll find it a good investment since trucks get ran harder and values tend to stay higher even when used. I haven't looked at the current market but when I bought the used mileage was high while the discount was low.

A few things stand out to me in this comment. In no particular order, regarding the Maverick being ford's only model that has continuously improved YoY sales, if you scroll up, the OP posted things with lots of numbers, some of which show the Ranger being up YoY. And '25 was up from '24, '24 was up from '23, etcetera.

And I'm not sure what point you're making for trucks "getting too dang expensive for the average consumer". If it's an excuse for sales being down or flat or something, look at Tacoma sales figures; up 16% this year over last, and absolutely killing it in the segment. Frontiers are up over 30% YoY, so people are buying midsize trucks in droves; just not the ones that aren't advertised (I'm looking at you, Ford).

Given that the Bronco and Ranger share the same platform and roll down the MAP assembly line together I could see the Ranger also getting it. But with the 2029 model year likely being the last for the Ranger at MAP I could also see a hybrid system not showing up until the F-100 is in production at TTP. We'll know the answer to that question soon when the Bronco hybrid is announced. If a Ranger hybrid is not announced at the same time, then we won't see it until the F-100.
