Did my first oil change after break-in at 1250 miles. Installed the Ronin oil drain plug and went with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic. Plan to do changes every 5k miles going forward.

I installed my fas-top softtopper and tonneau combo the other day. I don't have a very good photo of the soft top up; the attached photo is while I was doing the test fit and adjusting the rail position so it looks a bit floppy in the photo.

It's a great concept and I find the perpetual option of using a tonneau or soft top very appealing. When collapses the topper does take some space in the front of the bed, but removing the topper (edited from tonneau) completely is probably a 3-minute toolless affair for one person, very much unlike a hard top.

Also in the photos are my Method 703's (17x8.5 +35mm) with Nokian Outpost nAT in 255/75r17.

There's an old cliche that says to tie a string around your finger so you'll remember something. I don't know where the expression comes from, or if anybody actually ever did such a thing.

But I've been meaning to go to a hardware store to look for some plastic or rubber caps or something to cover the sharp exposed metal edges in the frame of my soft topper, but I never got around to it, or remembered to make it a priority. But the good news is that I no longer have to resort to trying the string around a finger to see if that would help, because I have a freaking gouge on my forearm from the damn thing. Hey Fas-Top, try harder to cover the sharp metal edges please (by that I simply mean, try). Attached is a photo and while there are a few places that can be dangerous, the cut ends of the metal pole is what got me. Until I'm satisfied that they're covered and safe, I won't let my dog ride back there and I need to learn to be more careful.

With only 1800 mi on my RR, I noticed each headlight already has chips / scratches so yesterday I applied pre-cut PPF film for our headlihgts. The fit is pretty good. I have some minimal experience as I applied a wrap kit to my mountain bike (Ride Wrap) and I still had the Ride Wrap supplied squeegee which I used.

Time will tell if they hold up well to elements and such, but for the price I can easily recommend.

Installed my new induction kit and got a big smile on me face already.
The turbo just came alive, and the raptor seems to be appreciating it as well. It is finally breathing ( pictures are from their website, I didn’t have enough light to take any decent picture to show you)

thanks Pro Alloy.
Next, rival protection plates, if they ever get to me.

I installed the ProCal tune tonight. I was kind of missing the off the line punch after installing 35's. I did my best to keep expectations low but holy crap it's a noticeable difference on the 1st drive after install. I understand it takes a few weeks to fully calibrate but the power difference and trans tune is very noticeable already.

One difference I notice that I don't see people talk about is the low speed manners of the tune. My truck kind of "lugged" around the 35's under 20 MPH. Meaning I kinda had to give it a little gas to keep those heavy tires spinning. This tune seems to just roll them with minimal effort like the stock 33's.

The conspiracy theory side of me wants to say this tune is meant for trucks with 35's. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a 35 package in the future with this tune. Probably not but its fun to speculate. This tune is exactly what I wanted. Very happy with the result.

TLDR: If you get 35's, this tune is a must.

Did you have a lift with the 35s? Rub? Had to remove crash bars or shave?

What wheels / tires are you running? Gonna do a quick 'tism breakdown for my own sanity:

I went with Method 703s (26.81 lb/ea, per their website), which are apparently ~1.45 lbs lighter than the OEM non-beadlock wheels (28.26 lbs)

Stock 285 Load C KO3s are 56lbs / ea
My new tires are 35x12.5 Load C Toyo AT3s, and are 59lbs / ea
Going up in size to "35" Load C KO2s (315s), those are 62 lbs / ea (google didn't turn up anything on KO3 315s, so maybe its still rolling out as part of their phased introduction)

Tire weights per Tire Rack

Going up in load range really increases tire weight, as you're going from (iirc) 6 ply to 10-12 ply or something like that. 35x12.5 Load D Toyo AT3s are 66 (!) lbs / ea, and a quick search for equivalent Nittos showed numbers in the 70s.

All of which is a lot of words to say that I feel like there's LESS unsprung weight and less initial resistance off the line with my new setup; I don't get the initial "lurch" anymore (yay).

YMMV, of course, and please correct me if I got something wrong - pulled all that data with quick google searching.

Got the Rival fuel tank skid on. Done with all the skid plates. FYI, installing a full set of skids by yourself with only car ramps suck. The fuel tank fought back when an accessory fell on my nose cutting it.

I'm running RRW monoforged wheels (~27 lbs) and 315/70r17 AT4ws C rating (74 lbs). They are sickeningly heavy but they are tough as hell. I went with the extra sidewall protection since I get into the sharp rocks quite a bit. My performance took a pretty big hit off the line. My truck was definitely lurching and didn't really like that added weight.

The tune made it feel like I went back to stock.
