Ford's weekly commodity report shows 2,387 Total Retail USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) orders excluding Raptor.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

Why don't they ever include the Raptor numbers? Would be nice to know. Is there a particular worry or strategy by not listing it?

Maybe there's a certain number they have to have waiting before they do a production run. Otherwise they can keep making Broncos. I would also like to see how many Raptor retail orders are out there. I know of one, mine!

What was the previously reported total unscheduled? Somewhere around 3k IIRC?

Doesn’t seem like a large number, once these get rolling perhaps they will crank them out….

Not really. The start date just keeps moving so they aren’t scheduling till it gets set in stone. They won’t be using the spare capacity for Bronco much if at all since the line has to be taken down to change out tooling for Ranger and building test vehicles which we’ve already seen sitting outside the plant.

Yet I wasn't scheduled. damn ford. I might just move on
what would you gain by doing that? It's not like there are viable competitors waiting on lots for you to choose from right now.

this is actually great news! All the non-union people trained to work the production line should easily be able to pump these out at a steady rate regardless of any strike. I'd expect Ford to delay offering the 2.7 option until well after the strike ends so as not to complicate or delay production start any further.

As someone who’s worked at an automotive supplier, who went on strike, you don’t want that truck. The replacements do the best they can, but they’re just not trained like the regular workers. You’re talking about software developers, middle management, maybe engineers.

Agree. I would much prefer a UAW technician with experience building my Raptor whether one agrees with their current demand or not.

I don’t see management building raptors, maybe just the regular rangers and other similar vehicles but not the speciality ones

They all roll down the line in whatever order they are scheduled in.

Something tells me all of us with scheduled orders will be driving trucks built by the office workers. Take it or leave it.
