It's highly unlikely it will get built. I did the same thing & my order got canceled when they switch to the 25's.I ordered a Marsh Gray Ranger Raptor with regular wheels, spray-in bed liner, and no graphics pack on 10/17/24 but my build has still not been scheduled. I assume this is because my dealer hasn’t received an allocation.
For those who have had theirs scheduled, how “big” are the dealers you ordered through? Are they notably large volume dealers? Just curious.
The dealer I ordered through is large enough, but definitely not the largest volume dealer in the area. I ordered through them intentionally because I like working with their people more, but I am beginning to regret that decision.
To clarify, my order is for a MY25 Ranger Raptor, not a 2024. My order was accepted 2 days after the order banks for MY25 Rangers opened. It's highly unlikely it will get built. I did the same thing & my order got canceled when they switch to the 25's.
That doesn't matter. My order was excepted, too. If it wasn't ordered with a allocation, it won't get built. To clarify, my order is for a MY25 Ranger Raptor, not a 2024. My order was accepted 2 days after the order banks for MY25 Rangers opened.
In your original comment you referenced your order getting cancelled "when they switch to the 25s". What does that mean? It implies that your order was for a MY24.That doesn't matter. My order was excepted, too. If it wasn't ordered with a allocation, it won't get built.
It means when ford switched to the 25's they ultimately canceled my order. My point was, I put in a order in Dec of 23 & it was never fulfilled because the dealer didn't use an actual allocation. Ford allows dealers to put orders in but that doesn't mean it will get built (especially with Raptors)In your original comment you referenced your order getting cancelled "when they switch to the 25s". Ordered through a big reputable dealership in the centerish of Dallas. Ordered through phone and got a confirmation relatively quick.I ordered a Marsh Gray Ranger Raptor with regular wheels, spray-in bed liner, and no graphics pack on 10/17/24 but my build has still not been scheduled. This is my first time ordering a vehicle made to order and was very confused when they were explaining to me the allocations they had. Thankfully it went smooth for me.That allocation system is so stupid. They should build all customers orders first then do stock orders. Keep customers happy and profits go up. Good luck
Well, tomorrow is another build scheduling day…Going to place an order for a Velocity Blue tomorrow through one maybe two dealerships, they said they'll do MSRP. First one to take delivery wins haha.
I take it that is a good thing for me. Or would I be too late to the party if the order is placed tomorrow?Well, tomorrow is another build scheduling day…
