2025 Order update

Mine did the same thing this morning, so I called Ford and they told me my truck had shipped out! The ETA to dealer was the same as the last ETA the tracker showed. They also mentioned that when it gets to a new rail location sometimes it glitches out the tracking website. They recommended contacting the dealer for future rail updates

As of this morning, mine is back to showing that it has shipped, with the July ETA. So it seems like the tracker is just consistently glitchy.

Mine did the same thing today. I was able to get the train info from the dealer and using that was able to determine the train had made it to Toledo. And it’s getting off the train in Nashville eta there 7/1. Tracker again shows dealer ETA 7/11-17.

Mine just did a weird thing. After a long time "in production," it finally changed to "built" last week, with an ETA for delivery in July. Then, a couple of days later, the status reverted to "order confirmed" and the ETA for delivery disappeared, but the dates are still showing for steps 2 to 4. I figure it's about 50/50 between the tracker system having a glitch versus someone crashed the truck on a test drive so they are starting over.

Mine did the same thing on Monday and the vehicle was delivered on Tuesday. Never did see a Shipped date until after it was delivered, and it was the same day as Delivered.

What priority code did you have? I ordered from Jack Demmer ford which is basically across the street from the factory. Blend date 6/7 and still waiting on delivery…

Ordered 12/5/2024 with a priority code 19 and the dealer had available allocations. According to the tracker: Scheduled week of 6/2, In Production 5/28 initially then changed to 6/4, Built 6/15, Shipped 6/24, Delivered 6/24. Window Sticker shows 6/4 blend date and CONVOY for delivery. No optional accessories in the order.

Normally 3-5 week to delivery, depending on location, accessories (like spray in bedliner). So late August or early Sept. My guess anyway.

Maybe longer if availability is limited for a certain option and they need supply chain to catch up.

As of today, my dealer rep is telling me that VIN view is listing my truck as “on hold”. It’s been over a month since it went into production (5/28). In that time, it was allocated to the dealer inventory with a 2.7L, then the listing changed to a 2.3L, then back to a 2.7L. As of yesterday it was still “on hold” and my dealer isn’t getting any additional info. There’s really no transparency on special orders apparently.

Honestly, I’m feeling a bit squeamish at this point. How long should I let this play out before I ask her to find me something else?

Does it need to be either/or? You could let this order continue doing whatever it is doing, and in the meantime start searching for something on a lot or in transit that matches what you want. If you find something, great, otherwise eventually the order will come through, though it might be a long wait.

The lack of transparency in the ordering process is frustrating for sure.

I ordered my 2025 Ranger Raptor at the beginning of November 2024, still no build date. All I have is the order number. Ford promises updates every 45 days, but they have not sent one since March. I have been looking at other options or cancelling altogether. It is demoralizing seeing so many people order after me that already have theirs.

I was in the same exact spot as you. Ordered in Nov 24, Ford stopped updates in March along with contact with salesmen who I found had quit when one contacted me from the new dealership he works at. I did a nationwide search for a twin of my ordered Raptor. Found one the other side of the country that was in stock. Purchased it then had it shipped to me.
Unless you don't mind the long wait I suggest you do the same. FYI I found Cars.com to be the most current on actual dealer inventory. That where I found my Raptor.

Does your dealer have allocations assigned to it? My guess, based on what you're describing, is no and you're just getting jerked around. You need to find a dealer with allocations and place your order with them.
