I ordered my 2025 Ranger Raptor at the beginning of November 2024, still no build date. All I have is the order number. Ford promises updates every 45 days, but they have not sent one since March. I have been looking at other options or cancelling altogether. It is demoralizing seeing so many people order after me that already have theirs.
I have ordered mine in October of 2024 and I keep getting the run around from these guys. Its been allocated since then, they've been saying no update on the build for over 6 months and then gave me a partial VIN (which I didn't even know they did since all the other ford dealers in the area say they don't ever do that). I escalated it to the sales manager who initially said he would contact them and give me an update in a week, its now two weeks later and he's dodging my calls. I left a voicemail for the GM and am waiting to hear back. Crazy part is, I never got an order and priority number. For all I know these guys got the truck and sold it to one of their friends which I heard has happened. I'm even paying the whole thing in cash so you would think these guys would get on it.

I agree. Something is hinky. There's a point where it doesn't make sense to keep waiting, and instead start shopping for something that is actually available.
Yea I have been looking around. Im trying to start close and expand. I get run arounds from many dealers. They want mark ups or add a bunch of junk, which is just another markup. I'll get mine at MSRP (if I get it haha) so I refuse to pay more. This is only a want, not a need, so I'm patient with it. My F-150 Raptor is awesome and suffices in the meantime :).

That's what I did. I looked nearby and everything had a big markup, then I started looking nationally, and while I was doing that I lucked into one locally that was already on order and with no markups. So I jumped at that. The dealer said that they were getting calls from all over the west coast, people are having to look far away to avoid markups.

I found that a lot of the ones advertised as having a discount weren't actually at a discount, either because "the website is wrong" or because of add-ons. But there were quite a few dealers who seemed very straightforward and were selling at a good price, as long as you are ok either traveling or having it shipped to you.

Good luck!

Congrats and thanks man! I am looking a bit farther out now. I wanted to trade my Raptor to help with tax savings, but the longer this goes on I think I am just going to sell it outright.

Try smaller dealerships in more rural areas. I found mine 1100 miles away in a town of 3500 people. Got a discount with no add on. Great dealer and shipping was reasonable. Good hunting and don't pay MSRP. Reward the honest dealerships out there.
