Don't believe it yet. They are still saying that the 2024 Raptor 3.0 V6 is both direct and port injected.Although the 2024 model was not able to be flat towed - at all, the 2025 model has corrected this oversite.

The flat-tow on the 2024 was problematic because of the braking system was incompatible. Ford changed the braking system for 2025, as expected, and it's now Flat-Tow capable.
He is saying that because the manual and various other text for things has been wrong.
Can you prove otherwise?

That’s correct on the injection, a previous thread has pictures proving that’s it’s only direct injection
This is a dealer-only publication. You can visit your local dealer and ask them to pull this information and answer any additional information you might need... like extending your car warranty.
Do we have any idea what type of incompatibility there was with the brake system? I’m not too familiar with flat towing, but is this about a requirement that the tow vehicle braking activates the Ranger’s brakes (like trailer brakes)?
I just popped by the forum to see if anyone had posted this. Here is the link to the actual official towing guide.
It had to do with a changed supplier of the anti-lock braking system. That supplier's software proved incompatible with Ford's software. Somehow, they were able to find a fix for the Bronco (basically same drive-train) but not the Ranger in the 24 MY. I do not know for sure if they changed suppliers or simply were able to rewrite the software. My guess is the former because if it were the latter, they could retro that to the 24 MY.
