26 Ranger Raptor on Bronco Sasquatch wheels and tires

Hi Everyone,

New to the forums although i have been around reading all the great information on here for sometime.
Thought it was time i share something! (not too usefull)

After sometime debating on tire size etc. i decided to buy some take offs from a Bronco Sasquatch in new condition with 315/70/17 tires.

I was iffy about the wheel style and color, but overall i kinda like it.

I installed them and as expected, the real issue are the crash bars. No other serious rubbing or clearance issue that i see that will affect drivability.
Will be tackling the crash-bar removal and install this afternoon and off to re-balance and align the truck on Saturday.

Im not an expert at any of this but here is the info incase it helps anyone.
Bronco Sasquatch 17in +30 offset
GoodYear Territory RT 315/70
(Same bolt pattern and hub size as our RR)

Although i did order a minor lift (spacer kit) i think i may not install and just doing the crashbar work and slight fender modding if needed. I like the way it sits and not need mess with the Fox stock suspension any further.

Honestly, drove it to work today for the first time on the wheels so I can't really tell yet. Will let you know in a few days.

Looks good. Has the ride changed? I traded in a bronco with the Sasquatch tires and wheels I added because it rode so stiff. I swapped Sas take off suspension too an it didn't help.

I absolutely love it! I thought about those. Wheels for my Ranger, ended up going with Nomad Field 504’s with a similar, minimalist look.

How Is your gas mileage now?

Just to update you, in the short driving I've been doing (traffic mostly no highway) i am seeing 14-15mpg. I am no expert but i assume a 1 mpg loss would be what id expect. Time will tell more.
Also, i am taking it easy until i replace or remove the crash bars.

I ordered the black hubcaps from ford. think it will make the look come together as my truck is black.

I feel it may have roughened it a hair but i was running higher tire pressure (my mistake).
Tires not balanced 100% and have not yet re-aligned the truck. will do this tomorrow. Overall, i do think the look is worth it as of now. It will only improve once dialed in.

If you plan on jumping it, you'll find that the fronts will touch the top of the wheel well. Other than that, I haven't had any rubbing on mine after removing the crash bars.

Looks good! I considered some of those Heritage wheels, but liked the look of the Everglades wheels just a little better for my truck.

I installed the high clearance crash bars and am having no issues. I have not been on any trails yet that need a lot of flex, so may end up with a small lift.

So i went over to road force balance the rims/tires and have a little issue and i am unsure if the information i was given is accurate?

On the balancing machine, the tires wobble slightly (all 5) and the shop claims the tires are no good. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them but were sitting for a bit as per the seller.
The rims check out fine and are strait.

I get some steering wheel shakes at 55-60 mph, less after the balance but still noticeable.
Should i try taking else where and see results? or just pull the trigger on new tires..

Hurts my heart seeing these tires go with no miles on them lol.

Try rotating the front tires to the rear see if same shake exists
If it goes away then check balance of rear tires
If a bad tire then only one needs to be replaced
