Copy that. Thank you very much! And while we are certainly not buying these trucks to get great gas mileage, hopefully your gas mileage isn't too bad when running the slightly bigger tires at those pressures?
Mine gets right at 16 in mixed driving.
I can stretch it close to 20 on 2 lane highways where speeds are more in the 60 mph range.
Instates around here are 75-80 mph so at 85 mph, its not much different then the 16 I get in the city. I do have my start stop shut off as well. Which all this is essentially identical mileage to my 2dr 2.7L Bronco.

Here is the setup. Drive it off the lot this AM. Brought it home and had the new tire setup waiting.

Toyo AT3 285/75/R17 (34”)
KMC Hatchet 17 +25mm

Crash bars had to be cut, cab side pinch weld was flattened.

In the photos attached is showing the difference in stance from stock (driver side photo) to my setup (passenger side).

Order a TPMS Kit from Ford and reprogrammed those 2hr install time.

Many more things to come!

How bad was the rub initially? Do you have any pics of the pinch weld modification? Last question, how did it do on your trip?

Wheel is 8.5 or is 9, and why you choose it over the other? I am in the fence but don’t know which one, I know i want +25mm

a 8.5" +25 wheel will tuck 1/4" more compared to a 9" wheel with the same offset

Did you weight the wheel before installing? It's listed at 25.18 pounds, over 3lb lighter than the stock wheel non beadlock wheel!

These are much lighter than comparable method wheels too. I think I'm going to to with the hatchet in matte black..

Also, what lug nuts did you use, do the OEM lugnut sizing work?

I did not weigh them. Went off of posted weights only and was searching for the lightest I could go.

I used aftermarket nuts

I'm doing my homework on the lightest wheels. I found the RTR EVO 6 17x9 30mm hub-centric at 22lbs. Definitely like the look of the KMC hatchet more but these are super light. Did you use a hub-centric 106.1mm to 93.1mm ring adapter on your KMC Hatchets?

From what I understand, you had some rubbing because you were running +25 mm offset wheels. So I was wondering — would 295/70R17 or 285/75R17 fit without rubbing on stock wheels and suspension?

I think you would be ok on the street and light offroading.

I am running 285/75/17 Toyo Open Country on 17x8.5 +30 Method 703 as my daily driver wheel setup and it doesn't rub unless under full compression and full turn and even then its very slight.

I run stock wheels and tires beadlocked if I do any serious offroading.

705 | Matte Black – MR70578560535 – Method Race Wheels

The 705's in 17" size are listed as being 25.2lbs. Obviously, they aren't quite as light as RTR's, however the structure of the spokes is more rugged and probably a bit more durable for side loading for off-road conditions considering that's their core design focus.

I'm going with either 703's or 705's, probably the 705's.
