I'm considering getting one, but I wanted to get some feedback first. You have the one with the raised center, correct? My 2024 Lariat has this hood protector. Haven't notices any wind noise or turbulence.
What kind of noise are you experiencing? Maybe I can verify if I hear it as well.
I've got 17.6K miles on the Ranger and (knock on wood) no rock to the wind shield yet.

I had one on my Colorado that I traded for the RR. No wind noise, mine was a stick on. After it was on for about 10 months I removed to apply a wrap. Dirt had worked it's way in and scratched the paint in a few spots. It's up to you, but I will never put on a stick on deflector again. Those who have this hood protector, are you noticing any wind noise or turbulence?

Not so well. Where I live in South Dakota there's lots of farm country and Lakes. Plenty of bug around. How does it do with keeping bugs off the windshield?
JRRANGER
Ya 3 weeks after I got my 2024 2.3 ranger xlt fx4 4x4 rock put a star in the windshield. 2 weeks after it got fixed by Safelight a small rock put a chip right where I look out at the road. Put the aero 1 flat hood protector on no chips. Not so well. Where I live in South Dakota there's lots of farm country and Lakes. Plenty of bug around.
Driving on I29 I usually have to clean the Windshield each time I fill up.
To be fair, I haven't had much luck against bugs with any front shield .
My last 2 vehicles in Colorado had bug shields, And both had to have the windshields replaced several times cause of rock hits.
Here after 18,900 miles I haven't had one rock hit the windshield, even following vehicles on gravel roads. The main reason I have this is to prevent rock chips on the hood and windshield.
