Those who have this hood protector, are you noticing any wind noise or turbulence?

My 2024 Lariat has this hood protector. Haven't notices any wind noise or turbulence.
What kind of noise are you experiencing? Maybe I can verify if I hear it as well.
I've got 17.6K miles on the Ranger and (knock on wood) no rock to the wind shield yet.

I'm considering getting one, but I wanted to get some feedback first. You have the one with the raised center, correct?

You are correct. The center section is raised ~1 inch.

I had one on my Colorado that I traded for the RR. No wind noise, mine was a stick on. After it was on for about 10 months I removed to apply a wrap. Dirt had worked it's way in and scratched the paint in a few spots. It's up to you, but I will never put on a stick on deflector again.

I put one on top of the PPF I have on the hood. The aeroskin 2 is made with several brands but all are manufactured under Real Truck as they own the companies. It did deflect bugs. No noticeable noise. The contour did not perfectly match my hood. I'm not sure if it is a minor stamping defect of the hood or an issue with the deflector. Regardless, there was some gaps that allowed dirt to get under it, so I opted to completely remove it. I even sourced the special two sided tape needed to reapply to verify the contour didn't perfectly match my hood. That tape is not cheap. I'm done with it.

I had one on my soft top Jeep Wrangler for 100K miles…no windnoise or anny other issues. But Jeeps have the aerodynamics of a toaster anyway. So maybe I should say I didn’t notic any additional wind noise? Jeeps have very little rake. Cracked windshields are common. There is no way to know for sure, but I think it protected mine from cracking. Just ordered Aeroskin 2 for my 2025 Ranger XLT. I’m on the hwy a lot and I want the protection.

talking about being on jeeps, i have one on the wife's 2019 wrangler and we have had zero broken windshields. the jl wranglers have a lot more rake on the windshield though. i never noticed it till we parked next to a jk and then it was night and day difference. her 2019 4 door 4wd gets better gas mileage than my 2.3 2wd ranger does even though its still a box with wheels.

How does it do with keeping bugs off the windshield?

Not so well. Where I live in South Dakota there's lots of farm country and Lakes. Plenty of bug around.

Driving on I29 I usually have to clean the Windshield each time I fill up.

To be fair, I haven't had much luck against bugs with any front shield .
My last 2 vehicles in Colorado had bug shields, And both had to have the windshields replaced several times cause of rock hits.

Here after 18,900 miles I haven't had one rock hit the windshield, even following vehicles on gravel roads. The main reason I have this is to prevent rock chips on the hood and windshield.

Ya 3 weeks after I got my 2024 2.3 ranger xlt fx4 4x4 rock put a star in the windshield. 2 weeks after it got fixed by Safelight a small rock put a chip right where I look out at the road. Put the aero 1 flat hood protector on no chips.
Had a 2021 Colorado before my Ranger and it was a rock and bug magnet. The Ranger hardly any damage to the front.
Enjoy

I'm just about to place the order for the Husky Aeroskin II Hood Protector and wanted to check in. After 6 mo or so, had anyone changed their opinion of the device or is it still positive?
