I have a 24 RR, with the FP tuner, COBB intercooler, and AFE intake. I love this truck; it’s my daily and it’s fairly quick. The only problem is that it charges like a cocaine bear, all the way to 107 mph (so I’ve been told), and then it hits the wall. Five minutes later, the Toyota TRD you blew the doors off of comes strolling by. Is there currently any magic incantation that would raise the speed limiter by a measly 10mph, without changing my current configuration? And just in case someone asks, I’ve already upgraded the tires.

A different tune will do it.

It has to do with your tires. The KO3s that come on the RR are only rated to 112mph, so Ford adds in a safety margin. My AT4X maxed out at 98mph, also because of the tires

FYI - I know that the speed is limited because of the tires, which is why I said those have already been upgraded. The current speed is limited to 107 because of the tires. The new tires are rated to 118, which drives the quest for a speed limiter increase of 10 mph. I don’t want to change anything else.

Yup get a tune from a 3rd party and they can remove the limit.

I know you said you “upgraded” the tires… Ford doesn’t care. If you put 20s and Z-rated on there, it is still a tall off-road truck sold to the public. I’m surprised they didn’t limit it even lower

Top Tunes for Speed Limiter Removal
  • Livernois Motorsports MyCalibrator Touch: This tuner explicitly states it raises the top speed limiter. It is available for the 2024–2025 3.0L EcoBoost models and allows for custom ECU remapping that removes the factory ceiling.
  • ZFG Racing Custom Tune: Widely recognized in the enthusiast community for Raptor platforms, ZFG custom tunes are known to remove the limiter completely. Owners often report these tunes reset the speed value to a high theoretical maximum like 399 mph.
  • Whipple Superchargers MPVI3 Calibration: Whipple's performance calibration for Ford's 3.0L EcoBoost platform (common across the Raptor line) specifically lists an increased speed limit as a key feature. Some variants for the Raptor platform raise this limit to 135 mph.
  • Goosetuned Custom Calibrations: This is another frequently cited custom tuning house that provides Stage 1 and Stage 2 packages for the Raptor. These custom calibrations typically defeat the factory speed limiter as part of the performance overhaul. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Hope you enjoy your stay in the County lock up when you're caught running at those speeds. You don't get a speeding ticket, you get a felony charge with your truck impounded and confiscated.
It's unlikely to be a felony. But it would definitely be a criminal charge as opposed to most traffic citations that are civil offenses.

Considering the top posted speed of most interstates is 70 or 75 you're talking about 30+ over posted. In most jurisdictions it is a felony and you get hand cuffed, end up in the local jail to see a judge and see your vehicle impounded and very likely confiscated.

Around here, in Florida, folks also see their licenses revoked for a minimum of 2 years.

Just saying, play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

" Yes, speeding can be a felony in Florida if you are driving 50 mph or more over the posted speed limit. Under Florida's "Super Speeder" rules (as of 2025/2026), extreme speeding is a criminal offense, not just a traffic ticket.30+ MPH over: Misdemeanor, mandatory court appearance.50+ MPH over: Third-degree felony.100+ MPH (regardless of limit)"
