Indeed! it is the same just got it in the mail.
I think i will install it this weekend. Did you remove your headlight or is it accessible in the wheel well

If you don't want to damage your old module, I recommend removing the headlight. Yes, my mechanic installed it without removing the headlight.

Now that there are direct replacement PCBs, that's the only way you should do that. I'm currently installing the ones from Signature Lux and it seems the tape was not very happy in the long term. I can see where it started looking burnt and reduced light transmission a ton. Also it's slowly been getting less and less orange over the past couple of months, so I am changing my stance on the tape mod to being not worth it to save a few bucks

Luckily it doesn't look to have damaged the light pipes, just is gonna be a pain to scrape the decaying tape off now without it getting into the light housing

Mine did this within 5mins of doing the tape mod. Mine is first MY of the Next Gen, so maybe a slightly different diode that emits more heat... Correct me if I'm wrong...
