I've been using this valve since my first oil change. Available most anywhere and cost is great. No other piece required to drain the oil.

I've found the quality of Dornan parts to be very inconsistent. They usually been disappointing.

It sounds like you're giving this a thumbs up, or are you just passing along information without a review?

Thanks

For now, Ford is doing my oil changes. If I start doing my own, I want a remote plug and hose so as not to have to remove the skid plate.

I'm still waiting for Fumoto. I've seen prototypes at automotive trade shows as recently as last year. I thought it would be here by now based on conversations with their team.

I put over 200K on a Fumoto valve on my old car, zero issues. I've put them on my other two cars right now. Will put one on the Ranger in time. OE quality 100%.

I’m recommending it. It has worked fine for every oil change since the first one and four since. It directs the oil straight downward without making such a mess. No other parts or tools required other than a straight blade screwdriver.
