Somehow I've managed to break both of my passenger side ride height sensors. No codes or anything thrown, but one broke the arm off the sensor and the other snapped on the linkages. Took it to the dealership and they wanted $200 for a diagnosis and said they didn't expect warranty would cover it, somehow you can break a ride height sensor without damaging the suspension....

Anyways ordered replacement sensors from an online Ford dealer parts department.

MB3Z-3C097-J for the front right.
MB3Z-5A967-G for the rear right.

Positions are labeled the same way everywhere I can find the part listed online.

Rear sensor is correct, but the front sensor is clearly for the left side. Contacted the parts department with the engineering part number and they verified its the correct part in the box.

Rear sensor is correct.

They're looking into it, but I wanted to see if anyone else has come across this? I hate that its so difficult to find part numbers for Ford stuff.

How did they break? Impact, overextension? Do you have any aftermarket suspension components?

No idea really. Suspension is completely stock. I had a shop rebuild the shocks and they pointed out that the sensors were broken. Half of me wonders if they accidentally broke them during the shock removal, but I don't have any way to know for sure. They offered to replace them for the cost of parts, but there was no local stock and I didn't have time to wait.

Almost a year ago I had a problem with one of the headlights deciding it should aim pretty far down. Resolved itself and didn't come back. I asked my Ford dealer to look into it when it was in for other service and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. Not sure if the sensor wasn't broken then or if they just didn't find it. I had been doing some fast offroad running during the trip when I had problems with the headlight aiming.

Ahhh yes I would think the shop didn't disconnect the sensors and drooped the axle too far.

Learned the hard way on the right side and made corrections doing the left side.

I broke my right rear but no idea how. Fixed with JB Weld epoxy. Later replaced the hiem joint ball with a metal one from GOAT off-road.

Anyone with a newish Raptor happen to be able to grab part number for me?

Looking for the part numbers listed on the white tag taped to the front right (passenger) ride height sensor?

Looking for this engineering part number highlighted below (wraps around the part) (this is from the incorrect sensor)

Levittown Ford seems to have ghosted me about figuring out the correct part or returning the incorrect part they sent me. The part number tag on my truck has disintegrated.
