They posted a video to Instagram, but of course they dont show a good closeup or how it really sounds versus the stock, they tend to play music over it instead

My exhaust showed up today !

only real complaint is the pipes are full of grease from the mandrel bending

it’s all 304 stainless , the pipe joints are mig welded - but that’s up behind the spare tire anyway

tips look good . Looks like a fusion laser weld for the pie cuts .

I’m excited to hear it and see how it looks

Got mine yesterday! Mine won't go one for a couple weeks though. Putting on with upgraded turbos from CRP, new downpipes, new plugs, colder thermostat and ZFC tune! Wagner intercooler and AFE intake and intercooler piping already installed. Going to be fun!!

Shout out to DirtD for the hookups!

Wait so the pie cuts aren’t just from the mock up, oof!
No wonder they didn’t show closeups

A few bucks more, but I highly recommend the Borla option. Polished black tips look damn near factory stock and look perfect next to the recovery hooks. I went with the entire cat back ATAK system (retains the 4 sound cutouts) and sounds mean as hell. Under load Sport & Baja startles people.
Nothing against any other male if exhaust, but this is the 7 or 8 Ford truck or Mustang that I’ve used Borla on and I’ve never been disappointed. USA made & built hell for stout. Easy bolt-up, did it by myself in the driveway with the truck up on 4 ramps in an afternoon.

Any updates on sounds?

Looking for BF deals on MBRP.
wondering the same. I almost pulled the trigger on the black tipped option last night but didn’t due to no sound clips existing.

In Sport & Baja it’s gnarly & nasty! Under mid throttle & up it literally startles the hell out of people. Keep in mind any rear exit exhaust will always sound slightly distant compared to a side exit setup just due to the nature of the setup. But these are short wheel based trucks and I definitely hear the exhaust under the truck and at the rear under load and open throttle obviously. Especially with the back slider open or when the rear windows are cracked open.
The Borla Atak has a real aggressive & crackly bite (which I’m used to - same system that was on my 3.5L Eco) but at cruise it settles in quite nicely. You still hear it mildly growling along but it doesn’t drone on or become bothersome. Even to my teenage son & his soccer buddies who ride in the backseat. Zero complaints. And that’s with leaving it in Sport or Baja mode. That’s the beauty of these trucks, if you do want to mellow it out you can with that servo button. Yes, the Borla system you swap over the factory servo’s so the 4 functions on the steering wheel stays intact. Wasn’t tough to do. Instructions spelled it all out.
USA made, all stainless, mandrel bent, & utilizes all the factory hangers. What more could you ask for? I’m throughly pleased.

There is a slightly tinny sound in the exhaust note in high rev shifts that I don't love. I am hoping that the MBRP takes care of that. I suspect it's a result of the OEM resonators and maybe the tips.

Could you grab a video or audio recording of the sound inside? I would appreciate it greatly.
