My truck updated to 6.2 on me (left automatic updates on). I was concerned, but my SW is RB3A-FPG30A-JF still so I'm guessing I'm ok. Also didn't notice any change in performance yet. Are the ford updates compatible or are we supposed to keep it off auto update. Do you think my tune was affected at all? Just wondering, since you spoke with fp, if maybe they talked about that.I spoke with Ford Performance and they said by looking at software version on pro call if the sw version has FP in it then it is the tuned software installed so you can confirm with that. They didn’t say about it. I need to 0-60 mine or Dyno then I would know for sure. I see the correct software. I am sure my dealer did it correctly and when they did I noticed difference in shift. However, I had to have the entire engine replaced, and I was a little worried after the fact if the tune was still there, although the tune is for the computer, not the mechanical engine parts so technically it should be there and the dealer said it should still be there and working. My problem is I’m not sure. I really feel the difference which is why if I did something like a 0 to 60 where I really were pushing it maybe then it would be noticeable not to mention the time would be different.
