Hey guys,

I’ve had my ‘25 RR for a few weeks now, and love it. I’ve been noticing a slight click behind the instrument cluster when accelerating at low speeds. It almost sounds like a really short cricket chirp. It seems to happen a handful of times when accelerating/decelerating at low speeds, but then stops. As in, it’ll happen a for a bit at first after starting a trip, but once I’ve been driving at speed for a bit, then stop at a stop sign, and start going again, I won’t notice it. It may be completely normal, but I haven’t heard it on other Fords I’ve owned, so I thought I’d ask y’all. Here’s a video of the sound. It happens 3 times, at 00:05, 00:12, and 00:22.

Mine is doing the exact same thing since the brake recal update and the dealer said they couldn’t hear it, then they could hear it, and that it was “normal” and couldn’t do anything about it.
It sounds to me like it’s coming from. The brake booster.
With the engine off, or on, before you take off driving, you can tap the brakes and it will do this after a second when you let all the way off. It only does it a few times, and you can exhaust that number of times before you drive away for that trip.
It will do it again once the power is off and the computer cycles

Dear god if you figure it out let me know it’s been driving me insane

Mine does the same exact thing; seems to only happen when I first start driving the truck, and after a half a mile or so goes away until I drive it again.

My 25 does this as well. It is definitely after starting the truck. Doesn't matter if it’s a cold start or warm. It appears something is calibrating, and not consistent on how long it does this.

I am getting this as well on my 25 XLT 2.7. I also get this random pop noise, which I am thinking might be the HVAC blend door actuators.... if only I knew where they were and how many LOL...

Heard the noise in the garage after opening and closing the driver door. Noise is definitely coming from the driver side engine bay. My guess is it's a solenoid of some sort on the firewall that the sound is transferring into the cabin. Probably normal...
