Ford chat told me that mine has an update due.
So is that chat talk for why it has been sitting since 2/01?

Curious: Maybe not your intent but due to some last minute hardware issues the 4-wheel down tow feature was deleted.
Curious if yours can be put in 4-wheel tow mode.
Maybe that update is to remove this function from the software. Although that might be an OTA update.

My XLT FX4 is built. Waiting for rail transport to the west coast. When is transport expected and has any other Rangers been shipped west by rail?

I’m out of SoCal and I got the email that my XLT FX4 was shipped 3/22. Dealer reached out to me and said they’re expecting delivery to be anywhere from 4/6-4/12. Pizza tracker has ETA as 3/30-4/12. Almost there!

If you go to your tracker under vehicle details there should be an Estimated delivery.

Mine is also going to Chesapeake, VA. The Estimated Delivery on the tracker has changed three times. 03/26/2024 - 04/08/2024 ---- 03/28/2024 - 04/10/2024 ---- 03/29/2024 - 04/11/2024. I was told on Wednesday by my dealer that it was going via train through Roanoke, VA to Petersburg, VA, and would be loaded onto a Convoy there and trucked to the dealership. If they are showing up at a dealer in Richmond, VA I'm hoping to get that call this week then.

Ordered 5/26. Shows shipped on tracker. Expected delivery on 4/7. It came in last Thursday night the 21st. Got it Friday, rushed to get wheels, tint, bedcover, running boards removed before the weekend. The tracker still shows in being shipped.
