My former Ranger was a 2024 2.3 Lariat. It was a great truck, just got a wild hair up my a** and decided I wanted a Raptor.
Same here had a 2024 2.3 Lariat it was a great truck sold it and got my Raptor $2400 off MSRP

I bought a used one w8000 miles. I test drive in the rain, and that’s when I knew it was the right truck, the tires gripped the road like knownones business and I even took speed bumps at 35 mph! Hopefully you’ll find another great truck!

Test drove a new Ranger Raptor last Wednesday. The truck looked great but had a shimmy in the steering wheel, also seemed really stiff in the steering. I decided not to buy it which surprised my wife and the salesman. I know the shimmy most likely is a tire balance issue but has anyone else thought that the steering was too stiff. I don’t want to buy a problem. I understand that it’s a performance vehicle but! What do you people that own one think of it’s driving characteristics especially on long trips?
Fantastic, travel regularly across states. The only gripe is when the BFGs wear and roadnoise but, I've had that gripe with every truck I've owned.

So glad the dealership fixed it and everything worked out for you. These trucks are a blast to drive and I think are the best bang for the buck in the midsize sport truck category. Now, get a bigger Intercooler, Cats, Cold Air Intake, and a good tune. You’ll have a formidable truck on the street.
Or just a Ford Performance Tune and keep most of your warranty and still kick ass!

Just picked 2026 Ranger Lariat last week and noticed the tire pressure set at 43 psi for all 4 tires – cold sticker says 30 psi max. I only drive surface roads – any suggestions on what the cold psi should be. Tires are Goodyear Territory AT255/65R18 111T.

I assume you lowered them to 30psi. That's gotta ride like driving on a pillow compared to 43! Don't know what you should run, but the way I look at it the auto maker's rating assumes a partially loaded truck/bed. If you drive mostly without a laod couple psi lower, especially in the rear, should give you a better ride. But you won't get the gas milage you did at 43psi! LOL!!
