I was wiring up my RD to a fuse in the left side pull down panel interior fuse box and noticed the normal medium size sticker with the keypad code #'s was not there, like was on my '24 and current '25 Bronco.
Anyone with a '25 if you get an opportunity to look there I'm curious if this the continuation of Ford's bean counter decontenting program or the keypads been discontinued?
TIA.

The keypad for 2025 and 2024 is a separate wireless stick on unit.

they default code comes with the keypad

for 2025, at least, it is a dealer installed option and only comes in black

that does give some flexibility in mounting options

Yea they changed the frequency so the part is NEW for 2025 and requires dealer to sync it to the truck. You cant really order the part and install yourself unless you have friend at Ford to order it in and then still needs the programming. The older 2024 part will not work. Ask me how I know🙄
The card spot at the fuse box is empty.
You can install it anywhere as mentioned. Even though the numbers run horizontal I installed in on my door pillar because I think it looks better there. Probably because thats how my F150 is situated.
Cost $150 installed and $51 was the install portion
Here is the part number:

I have a 2025.

trying to get a keypad for it cost me time and money

used my point to get a keypad. Chatting with Ford parts told me it would work on a 2025

small print on Ford website, which I didn’t notice, said it could not be returned

used points to buy it

my dealer tried to install it but finally told me it was not compatible with a 2025

Ford wouldn’t give me a refund plus my dealer sent the part back to Ford

argued until I figured out it was fruitless

end up with no points returned and no part to sell on Ebay

What I'm really wanting to know is did Ford stop even the aftermarket option of having a keypad done at the dealer cause on my '24 i had the code sticker and my '25 does not.
And just to be clear i never had the keypad on the '24 just this sticker which would seem to allow add on later. I guess im not getting that option now with the '25 .
(And both were XLT's if that matters.)

My understanding is the keypad is not available via the Ford Ranger accessories

which is disappointing because I really liked having it on my 21 Colorado ZR2

seems like I read it somewhere where Ford was having difficulty shielding it from the truck thieves hacking it

can you please post the link to Ford Rangers accessories that indicate it’s available for 2025 model years

I have a 2025 lariat, I bought the keypad from the dealer who installed it when I picked it up.

I don’t see how that can be any clearer.

I had the keypad on an old F150. I never used it. I don't understand the point of having it, because I had to have the key with me to drive the truck anyway. It was just one more way to steal the truck as far as I was concerned. YMMV.

It’s great to be able to lock my key in the truck when I exercise, swim, go to the beach, etc. Or to unlock or lock the truck when I’m home without having to go inside to get the key or phone.
