Was driving up the road and saw it in front of dealer.. It was spoken for but did take a short ride.
truck looks awesome with a nice stance. Actually looks bad ass in person. I had no problem with interior although a lil tight I thought.
I’m 5’8 190 fya. the ride and motor did not impress me. And no sport mode. Waiting for Ranger Raptor. End of story.

by the way, unless you see one on lot or it’s coming in relatively soon and already ordered, expect 4to six months according to GSM.

I imagine GM is facing the same issues ford is with the strike. Although GM and the UAW seem a lot closer to a deal currently

If it's spoken for I'm surprised they allowed you to take it for a drive.

I liked the canyon looks and the Colorado looks.

But the ford ranger has the sweet trailer pro assist. That’s a game changer for me.

But if prices are jacked up high from this new uaw stuff, might be looking elsewhere

I did the same. Actually had one on order until I got to drive one. That power is just a non-starter. Holding fast with the Raptor.

I took one good look at the lack of clearance of the front end on the Chevy Trailboss and made me set on the ranger.

I have been looking at the Canyon as well. For me it would be the AT4 (If I could find one nice and loaded) or the Denali. I couldn't handle the interior of the AT4x. Still like the Ranger or Tacoma better. I'm starting to feel like I may not see the Raptor. The longer this goes though, the more I'm thinking a Lariat would be fine, so I may change the order. In any case, the only way I'd get serious about a Canyon or Colorado ZR2 would be if GM offers some serious finance deals after the strike to get rid of the '23s. Otherwise I'll wait on Ford or Toyota.

I actually prefer the look of the ZR2 over the GMC's. The digital camo pattern interior isn't my favorite, but miles beyond the candy cane look of the GMC. I'm a bit bias I guess, but meh...

I personally don’t like any piano black in the interior, same problem with their full size trucks. That black just scratches up immediately, especially in a pickup truck. Also, my brothers and I do a lot of engine swaps and builds in our shops, and we’ve noticed when we put a LS376/525 crate engine in our Jeep Comanche that GM has much more made in china parts than anyone else. I’ll take made in Mexico way before made in china. I bet that’s where gm gets their cheap feeling interiors from as well. Funny because I was gung ho on getting a zr2, until the RR announcement made my decision for me, and looks like I might get the RR before I may have gotten the zr2 lolz.

I drove a 2023 colorado trail boss . I though it had alot of turbo lag , and it had to be wound up to get some power out of it . Then I drove a 2023 Ranger with the 2.3 , I thought the Ranger was alot more peppy .
