I got an idea ford.... why dont you stop designing and creating crap and concentrate time and effort on producing reliable vehicles that dont get recalls every 2 months

I remember when ford announced that they were bringing back the bronco. There had been rumors for a couple of years that they were bringing it back. Then they announced it and posted a “rendition“ of what it would look like. That rendition looked like a IH Scout with a blue oval on the front grill. 🤮
So, I’ll wait and see what the new one actually looks like before passing judgement, but sure hope it looks better than the AI rendition, or the tesla “truck” when it comes out.

Thanks, I know it’s an AI rendering. What isn’t, these days? It’s still completely disgusting.
I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows this is NOT created by Ford. It is a random member on the Mache forum.

Because people will think this is what the new mid size ev pickup will look like and pass judgement.

its simply what some person not affiliated with Ford thinks it might look like.

The only way this works in my mind is if it was in the original spirit of the El Camino/Ranchero, which was a car with a bed, and in the case of the Camino, a big fast high hp motor. I have zero confidence this is the spirit however simply because originally it was an inadvertent work around regarding insurance companies’ view of what a ”truck” was. That’s gone these days, so imo, this amounts to a left-handed back scratcher. What’s the point? I guess there may be a segment of the market that likes their cargo wet?

That ai deal looks like a mach E with the back removed to make it a bed.

Here is my take, or at least google gemini take after some coaxing. The aero tonneau cover is a different idea i hadn’t thought of, thanks google.

An aero tonneau would be super cool. I have seen people on that hyper miler forum make them for trucks but that out of range for me to do without it looking terrible
