Tried enabling glare free high beams tonight on my 26 Raptor. Tried twice and each time I ended with 4 diagnostic codes, so I rolled back the changes.

DTCs were:

pscm - U023A:00-28 (lost communications with image processing
module A)
RCM - B00DF:4A-08 (passenger restraints disable switch - incorrect component installed)
HCM - U2101: 00-08 (control module configuration incompatible)
IPC - U0415:00-08 (invalid data received from abs control module)

Not sure what the issue is but it feels like something has to have changed?

A big shout out to @craigc for putting the spreadsheet out, and to everyone that has contributed to this thread. You are all awesome. This is a long thread with a lot of minutiae to wade through, but for those ppl looking to run Forscan the first time, I recommend reading it. And for God’s sake, please back up your modules BEFORE you make your changes.
Just an observation after making several changes on my 25 XLT. Some of these changes will throw DTC codes. In my case, everyone of them cleared and have not returned. Its probably a good idea to reset any codes after each change you make, if the code won’t clear, then you know which change to undo if that’s what you want to do. I’m not trying to come across as some forscan guru. I’m new to this software and making changes to my truck with software like this. But all of the work you all have put into this thread made it pretty straightforward. Thank you all

Have any of you played around in the ACM module? I have the 12ā€ center display, but the standard BO sound system. The eq only has 3 bands. I was looking on the spreadsheet and saw there are a dozen eq options, so I thought I’d try and get a eq with more bands.
In the ACM module, 727-01-02 xxx* the as built had 1. I first tried 9. I still only had 3 bands. Then tried C. Still only 3 bands. While doing all of this, I was listening to Sirius on the radio. After the first change, I had no volume on the radio, but didn’t snap until trying the second time. I thought, oh great, I’ve bumbled this up. So I reloaded my backup. Still no volume from the radio. Also all of my radio presets weren’t displaying. Just SDxx. I swapped to FM, and my preset FM channel had volume. Back to sirius. Still nothing. I assume I lost my sirius account info in the stereo.

I shut down forscan and started googling how to set up my sirius acct in the truck. I turned the key off, went in the house. After getting my account info, I went back to the ranger, started it up and sirius was working fine, and my presets weren’t back. Long story short, I wasn’t sucessfull in getting another eq to display and my radio is working properly. lol. But a heads up, you might temporarily lose your sirius radio while changing things in line 727-01-02

I don’t think it’s possible. However, I would really like to have an offset for the automatic climate control.

Right now, when I set it to 18°C, which is about 64°F, the cabin temperature feels the same as when my Jeep is set to 21°C, which is about 70°F.

In other words, I would like the display to show 21°C instead of 18°C for the same actual cabin temperature.

I don’t think this can be done with FORScan, though.

New here, just picked up my 2026 Raptor yesterday! I have read all 79 pages of this thread and didn't see any talks about the Box Lighting (Bed Lights) and if it would be possible to activate them along with the cargo light on unlock or door opening?

Currently in my '26 I can turn the box lights on via the switch on the dash or through Zone Lighting, so I'd have to think there should be a way to enable them to come on though Forscan.

hi folks. just went through all 79 pages for the mods I can do for my new XL STX ranger. I noticed nothing was mentioned for actually disabling the start-stop function. Noticed the following from this site:
Disable Auto Start/Stop: Ranger & Amarok - SC Diesel Tuning

Step-by-step (1, 2, 3)
  1. Connect, scan, and confirm modules are available
Plug in the correct adapter for your vehicle, turn ignition ON (engine OFF), connect in FORScan, and let it build the vehicle profile.
Before changing anything, confirm the required modules appear in the list.
Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 01-module-list
Figure 1: Confirm all modules load before changing anything.
  2. Disable Start/Stop in BdyCM (Body Control Module)
These are the key changes that disable Start/Stop logic and adjust battery strategy.
    1. Select BdyCM and enter configuration.
    2. Set BMW/Start Stop to Disable.
    3. Change BMW Config to PWM.
    4. Change Battery Target to 95%.
    5. Write changes and confirm.
  3. Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 02-bdycm-play

Figure 6: Confirm the changes, then write to BdyCM.
  4. Disable Start/Stop strategy in HVAC
This step disables Start/Stop strategy inside the HVAC module so the system doesn’t try to influence Start/Stop behaviour.
    1. Open HVAC configuration.
    2. Set Start Stop Strategy to Disabled.
    3. Write changes and confirm.
  5. Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 07-hvac-strategy-disabled

Optional cleanup (recommended)
Some vehicles will still show Start/Stop options or prompts in the cluster or infotainment even after it’s disabled.
These steps clean that up.

IPC (Instrument Cluster)
  1. Open IPC configuration.
  2. Set Auto Start Stop Enable to Disable.
  3. Write the change.
Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 09-ipc-auto-startstop-disable
Figure 9: Disable Start/Stop prompts/indicator in the instrument cluster (IPC).APIM (Infotainment / SYNC)
  1. Open APIM configuration.
  2. Set Start Stop Option Enable to Disable.
  3. Write the change.
Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 10-apim-startstop-option-disable
Figure 10: Remove the Start/Stop option from infotainment (APIM), if present.
Why Disable Auto Start/Stop on Your Next-Gen Ford Ranger & VW Amarok
  • Cycle ignition OFF → wait 30–60 seconds → ignition ON.
  • Start the vehicle and confirm Start/Stop no longer activates.
  • If you have warnings, stop and restore original values.

I dont think anyone has confirmed that on a na truck. There has been lots of talk about ac and battery settings affecting autostart/stop but nobody has gotten it to actually work

I came across this page a few days ago as well and did it on my 2023 Australian RR and it works. I was wondering why it hadn't been posted yet since that site's page was published in January.

For EU RR, just change BMS configuration to PWM and no ASS anymore.
Anyway, I got RA Ranger ASS eliminator and it works perfecly without affecting BMS config.
