Having trouble finding an answer here and hoping maybe somebody can dumb it down for me?

I'm a bit confused on how to do the adjustments within Forscan. Here is an example I am trying to do, which will remove the "Full View Not Available" from the rear cam:

Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 1787236679768-z1

I see the value is APIM 7D0-02-02. But that's where I get lost. What exactly am I changing here? I don't understand what the 3 Value Change columns mean (xxx*, xxxx, xx--) and then the * Bit 1 explanation...

Don't really get bits and computer talk. Could someone just show me what I'm supposed to change here?

Change the * to whatever it says the change is in that spot of your as built. Your as built will be in blocks of 4 4 4. Hence XXXX XXXX XXXX. The * is what you change.

Will give it a shot thank you!

I asked AI as well, not sure if this all seems correct...

It is highly recommended that you back up any modules PRIOR to any change, that way you can easily restore it to factory if you mess something up.

I’m guessing that’s Gemini? ChatGPT is pretty good at Forscan and just helped me with the glare free high beams on my truck. If you want to go with AI that is
