Headlight connector location

How easy is it to access the headlight connector on either the driver or passenger side? And it’s it accessible from the top or would i need to remove fender liners?
Picking up the Ranger next week but trying to get a head start on buying amber grille light for it. Seems like most people had wired it to aux and not many post on using piggy back connecter off the headlight.

I used the f150 harness adapter for my grill lights. I went through the fender right in front of the driver wheel and just fished the other end up to the engine bay to hook the grill light wires to.

Dang, I didnt put the pics of the harness stuff in because I ordered it after the install so there are no pics in that link about it.

The f150 adapter is really nice though. I have bought a few of their kits to use in different rangers and my son's 22 f150. The kits are well thought out and so easy to use

I did the sdhq grille shutter delete and after reassembling everything (read the entire grille, shutter surround, headlights, etc.) I was able to reach down and reconnect the harness with the headlights in place. Might be harder coming undone but with some patience I bet it’s possible
