I think we were talking past each other in the previous posts. The bug removal wasn't just for the lights... the whole damn front end. So.... Windex and microfiber :)

Never had clear headlights yellow or crap out appearance wise just by keeping them waxed & buffed after every wash. Just a good spray detailer wax & soft cloth. Fast & simple. Water beads off, they stay cleaner longer, and never discolor.

No, but LaminX has been the gold standard for decades.

I'd stick with them.

Well I got my Lamin-X kit today. Holy shit those headlights are a PITA with the two “wings”, making the film flop all over the place. I’m wishing I had purchased the “installation protection”. Because right now they kind of look like shit. Hopefully the breathable nature of the material allows them to clear up, otherwise I might be getting a second kit :explode:

I can say that after a few weeks of the Lamin-X being installed almost all the bubbles are gone and the PPF is essentially invisible (except it has a "texture" to it compared to the plain plastic). I might have one that needs the "needle treatment".

I'll leave it for now and hope it holds up.
