Hello ,looking for a 2024 ford ranger xl skidplate kit that will fit this truck

Yeah. at this point, I'm not sure what went wrong. Rival seems like a good company. But it's 2" too long. I'm returning it. I'll be interested to see what other peoples experience is with the plates that they get. ?‍

If it was the right length, i could of probably drilled it to make it work with the Transfer case plate. oh well.

To many assumptions are being made and the end user is the R&D after the fact.

When i started out, when Tryranasaurses roamed the earth, When i got my first Haynes manual, never forget the warm and fuzzy i got after reading " Based on a complete tear down and rebuild of the vehicle" unlike Chiltons! ? We'll see what other peopole's expereince is.. ?

I recieved the plate. You were wise to wait, in this case. The plated did not fit. It's 2" too long, and there appeares to be other problems with fitment. I am surmising that someone at Rival took the easy route and assumed that the US ranger was the same as the Global one, and did not try a fitment. I am likely returning mine. It also required removal of the tranfer case Skid plate to install it. ?

Hey RangerDangerStranger, yeah I was afraid of that ,RCI swore up and down that the 2019-23 kit would fit all front motor tranny transfer and gastank, NONE WERE EVEN CLOSE ,and had the awful task of patching and using 15 dollars of duck tape to tape those boxes ,not to mention helping FedEx load those very heavy skidplate!!, Sorry about that RangerDangerStranger!!

Just installed the Juggernaut offroad skid plates and while they did bolt up its a 2 piece system
and they are nice Heavy duty thick Aluminum it was to close to the front valance and they are making some adjustments and sending me a new skid plate. I will post up pics when I am done.
but for the price its a good deal on some really nice skid plates. even cheaper than the factor parts.

Here is the Front edge. should be perfect if it was about 2 inches shorter/further back. New one is coming.


Update. New plate even better fits with front spoiler. They will add alittle adjustment room in the slots but very happy and they quick on the phone and shipped part out fast. Looks great on the truck.

Save yourself some "Coin and get the Bronco Steel Engine plate - MB3Z 5B018 A, fits the ranger and about 45 bucks. Fits where they show the Rival. Good heafty piece, and the trasnsfer case plate, - MB3Z 7E063 A- also from the Bronco, also fits perfect, around 35 bucks. Have both instaled on my Ranger, along with the front skid your asking about. Also have a Rival Gas tank plate. You can jam that front plate behind the stock air dam. FX4's etc, don't have that Dam. Also the Skid plates-All- will fit any Ranger, as they all have the Same Exact Frame with all the bolts and holes. Mine is a XLT 4x4, non FX4, came with no skiders at all. just plastic garbage.

I kind of like the RIVAL engine plate but it's 250 bucks more that the Ford plate for around 50. Ford plate is a Good hefty piece.

It's for the transfer case, and it's decent, pretty hefty. I haven't been able to find one yet that will work with it for the transmission. Most want you to buy their case and transmission plate.

There's a trans plate that works with the factory stuff. Pricey though, but the rival Trans plate is for he world Ranger, and you have to use extenders.

FYI, Rival created a Fully fitting Trans plate For the US Ranger that fits with the OEM (or aftermarket) Transfer case plate.. Looks great!
