Got excited to share an unboxing/first impressions post to share this kit for 2024+ Ford Ranger or Ranger Raptor.

First impressions are.... Top Quality, Quality packaging, Quality Materials, Quality design.

In hand, screams precision and strength. Just feels like it is made to exact tolerance and details.

I need to mention, I met the owner of the Company Jay and he is all about sharing his Automotive passion with everyone, it's actually inspiring to learn from him and I had heard of the FANcar previously and knew some history behind various past concepts/applications but learning about his involvement with it and his future plans...his Automotive passion and talent is inspiring.

Couldn't say anything about possible performance or longevity advantages yet as I haven't installed it yet, but theoretically if the factory rubber decayed faster than the bearing this at least allows replacement of the rubber seperate of the bearing, and in my case it was at the least motivation to dismount the shafts to paint them and get rid of the rust look...

Looks nice, but is the center carrier a known weak point? What's the advantage of upgrading to this from a stocker?

There were apparently issues on some 5G Rangers from what I read, one advantage is since it's a two piece design the rubber cradle for the bearing is replaceable and there are 2 different options for the rubber. The bracket is substantially more robust as well which may be an advantage. I'm still installing now and will update when completed.

Thanks for posting, this is very cool for a lifted truck as it will help with less drive shaft ubolt stress/wear because it creates a "softer" slope angle from the transmission to the rear diff.

Certainly, there's a custom spacer kit as well to get that position adjusted. So I'm just waiting on a 26mm hex socket and bearing puller to install, already made good progress so far

is this the set the dudes on facebutt wer showing a couple months ago? those look great and i can totally see the benefit of it after having bmws where the center support goes out enough that i basically did it each time i did a clutch. the rubber tears around the bearing and i had to drop the two piece driveshaft and make an alignment mark on each piece so they stayed balanced when put back together again.

that bearing support rubber looks like it will last waaayyyy longer than my stock bmw ones did. i think these would wear out so fast because of the cars being autocross cars
