I know I can get a Ridgeline and I probably won't have any issues with it just like I haven't had any issues with my civic. Thing is, I want a truck to use for work but also want to take it out to the sand dunes to have fun with. Are the cam phaser issues a big thing or just a small issue with a loud vocal minority?
There's been tons of videos made about this truck and never saw anyone mention this being a big issue. It was mostly the wrinkly leather on the seats and other minor issues. Nothing like the tons of recalls the maverick got. (Another truck I wanted but too many recalls for my liking)
Worst case scenario if I buy this truck and I get the rattle, how long can I continue running the truck? Can I keep going till it craps out and i'll be fine since it'll be under warranty?
I don't know much about cars other than changing a tire and brake pads. The rest I have no clue so any help would be appreciated.
